‘The Golden Bachelorette’ Eliminations: Who Made Joan Vassos’ Top 3?

Twenty-four men started on The Golden Bachelorette. Enamored with Joan Vassos‘ poise, vibrant personality, and story, they all had one goal in mind — to find love with the woman they all traveled to the Bachelor mansion to meet. But only one man will become Joan’s winner.

The first elimination was fairly easy. The 61-year-old Maryland native hadn’t truly gotten to know every single suitor. But after the second week, Joan’s decisions only got harder.

From a swoonworthy ’80s prom to a talent show, the Sunset Years studs were all about a good time. Hey, fan-favorite Jack even proved he was the life of the Bachelor mansion with all of his cannonballs into the pool. Unfortunately, his adorable sock puppet performance at the talent showcase wasn’t enough to keep him in the competition.

Joan’s men battled it out in a kickball competition during the third week. The Golden Bachelor‘s Gerry Turner visited Joan before her next rose ceremony, but he didn’t join the show. He stopped by to give her some sound advice. Joan had to send three men home, and it wasn’t an easy decision for her to make.

The show took a dramatic turn during the October 9 episode when Chock Chapple suddenly left the show because his mother died. After he dealt with the tragedy, he returned to the show. “I had to come back and see you,” he told Joan before the rose ceremony. Joan gave him a rose and sent a batch of suitors home.

During week 5, she decided not to give the ultimate fan favorite a rose right before hometowns. Breaking the hearts of the viewers (and Pascal), Joan was left standing with just four men by her side.

Going into hometowns, The Golden Bachelorette lead met quite a few family members and really got a feel of what her life would be if she ended up with any of the men. Over the course of the week, she did get worried that the two Chicago gentlemen might still need some time to get on the same page as her. Jordan’s kids even said he hadn’t been in love with anyone since his split from their mom over a decade ago.

So, even though we’d all like to see these suitors living it up in the season’s first and last tropical getaway, they can’t all stick around. So, find out who Joan has let go so far. Have any of your favorites gone home yet?
