[Warning: This post contains MAJOR spoilers from Season 9 of Temptation Island.]

All ten episodes of Temptation Island Season 9 dropped on Netflix on Wednesday, March 12. The dating experiment returned for its first season on the streamer, with four couples putting their relationships to the test to see if they were meant to be together.

The pairs were separated into two villas with members of the opposite sex who were there to tempt them. The couples were not able to interact during the process, but they were shown videos of what their partners were up to every few days.

At the final bonfire, the four men and four women had to decide whether they wanted to leave the island with their original partner, alone, or with someone new whom they formed a connection with. Scroll down for a full recap of what they all decided!

Tayler Byrd & Tyler Breshears

Tayler and Tyler’s relationship quickly fell apart once they were separated. Tyler wasted no time forming a connection with Kay Carlson. Although he didn’t cross the line right away, he eventually spent the night cuddling with her. The next night, they went into “temptation haven,” where no cameras were allowed, for some alone time. Amid the physical moments, they also went on several dates together, with Tyler asking Kay to go on all of his dates with him.

Watching clips of Tyler and Kay falling for each other was extremely hurtful to Tayler. She sought comfort in Yamen Sanders, although their relationship did not get as deep as Tyler and Kay’s.

The writing was on the wall for these two long before the final bonfire, but when they reunited, they confirmed that it was over. Tayler told Tyler that she felt “disrespected” and “hurt” by his actions, and he noted that he was also hurt by clips of her telling some of the guys that he had “b**ch tendencies.”

Tayler and Tyler broke up. She left the island single, while he asked Kay to leave with him and she agreed.

Ashley Moore & Grant Larsen

Ashley declared herself a “single woman” about halfway into the experiment after seeing Grant form a connection with Natalie Cruz. After being the first guy to give into temptation by kissing Natalie, Grant then continued pursuing her. They had a steamy night in the shower and also went into “temptation haven.”

After witnessing this, Ashley gave into her connection with Danny Spongberg. They initially went into “temptation haven” without getting physical. They took things to the next level on their second go and continued to build their relationship from there.

At the final bonfire, Ashley was cold to Grant and called him out for being a “serial cheater.” He told her that she was “unobtainable,” and they both made it clear that they weren’t going to be together.

Ashley and Grant broke up. He decided not to leave the island with Natalie, opting to focus on himself instead. Ashley and Danny left the island together.

Shanté Glover & Brion Whitley

Shanté and Brion had very different experiences in their villas. She was loyal, but about halfway through the process, he had a threesome with Courtney Randolph and Alex Zamora. One of Brion’s biggest issues in his relationship with Shanté was that he didn’t think she was sexual enough, which led him to be tempted by the sexy singles in the villa.

However, the escapade in the bathroom only made Brion appreciate what he had with Shanté even more. He insisted that the hookup made him realize the kind of man he wants to be with Shanté in the future. However, she was incredibly hurt when she watched the clip, although she remained stone-faced and was willing to hear her boyfriend out.

At the final bonfire, Shanté called out Brion for his indiscretions, as well as how disrespectful he was to the other women in the villa. He repeatedly apologized and told her he wanted to leave together, promising to build back the trust once they were back in the real world. Shanté initially decided to choose herself and told Brion that she could no longer be with him, but when he continued groveling and assured her that he would never have crossed the line in the real world, she changed her mind.

Shanté and Brion left the island together.

Alexa Santamaria & Lino Troisi

Both Alexa and Lino remained loyal to each other throughout the experiment. While they built platonic relationships with the tempters, they never crossed any boundaries.

When they reunited at the final bonfire, Alexa and Lino were extremely emotional and professed their love for one another. It was an easy decision for both of them to stay together. Lino had another surprise in store, though, when he proposed to Alexa in the romantic setting. She accepted.

Alexa and Lino got engaged and left the island together.
