[Warning: The below contains MAJOR spoilers for Tell Me Lies Season 2.]

Tell Me Lies Season 2 ended with a bombshell, beatdown, and tragedy. The college and wedding timelines were left in utter disarray. During the college years, Drew (Benjamin Wadsworth) died from an accidental drug overdose while visiting Wrigley (Spencer House). Lucy (Grace Van Patten) and Stephen (Jackson White) got back together (sort of), and when Leo (Thomas Doherty) found out, he went off on Stephen.

Stephen also discovered that Evan (Branden Cook) and Lucy hooked up at the end of last year, a piece of ammunition he saved to blast at the most inopportune time: Evan and Bree’s (Catherine Missal) wedding. Just before she was set to walk down the aisle, Stephen sent Bree a voice recording of Evan’s confession.

The final episode of the season left so much open-ended. Below, Swooon has compiled the key questions we a Tell Me Lies Season 3 to answer.

1. Who is Bree's mystery caller?

In Season 2, Bree has a heated conversation with someone on the phone, but we still don’t know who is on the other end.  She tells this mysterious caller that marrying Evan is her “chance to be happy” and “have a family.” Given the Oliver (Tom Ellis) storyline, it could be him, but it seems way too obvious. (Wrigley, perhaps?)

2. Will Lucy tell Lydia she hooked up with Stephen?

She certainly should. Lucy and Stephen have a steamy hookup just before Evan and Bree’s wedding. After provoking each other in their ongoing toxic war, these two gave in briefly before the nuptials. “You haven’t changed at all,” Lucy told Stephen in the middle of their tryst. “Neither have you,” he replied. After Stephen sent Bree the recording of Evan’s confession, Lucy should run straight to Lydia (Natalee Linez) and tattle.

3. Will Bree forgive Lucy?

Lucy broke girl code big time when she slept with Evan at the end of her freshman year. Bree discovered Lucy and Evan’s massive secret at the end of Season 2, courtesy of Stephen. Will Bree and Lucy’s friendship be able to survive this mistake?

“I think forgiveness is tricky. I wouldn’t say necessarily that Bree forgives anyone for anything. I think she’s the type of person that represses and compartmentalizes,” Missal said ahead of Season 2.

4. When did Diana and Pippa start dating?

Pippa and Diana’s romance was a delightful surprise in Season 2. We’re starting to see the origin story in the college years timeline. However, we still don’t know when their relationship turned romantic. It seems fairly recent, especially since none of Pippa’s friends knew, but we could be wrong!

5. Will Bree and Evan even get married?

That’s the big question after the second season. Bree now knows about Evan and Lucy’s college hookup — will she be able to go through with the wedding in the end? Is she even truly happy with him?

6. How will Wrigley cope with Drew's death?

The second season ended with Drew’s tragic death. After a night out drinking and popping painkillers, Drew died. Obviously, Wrigley was left devastated. Will he return to Baird? How will this change him? The fallout of this tragedy should be a key storyline moving forward.

7. Did Stephen ditch Evan and Bree's wedding?

Where in the world is Stephen DeMarco at Evan and Bree’s wedding? He’s mysteriously missing at the service. He might have gotten the hell out of dodge before he sent the recording of Evan’s confession. With no eyes on Stephen, we’re officially worried.

8. Is this the last we'll see of Leo?

Look, we’re not condoning violence, but Stephen got exactly what he deserved. Leo beat him to a bloody pulp at the Christmas party. You have to admit, it was great to see someone just unleash on Stephen. Will Stephen press charges against Leo? Or will Leo just quietly fade away?

9. Is Oliver gone for good?

In the Season 2 finale, things got messy for Bree, Oliver, and Marianne. Oliver revealed to Bree that he and Marianne had an open marriage. Marianne knew about the affair the whole time. It’s likely that Oliver’s time at Baird is over. Let’s just hope he leaves Bree alone forever.
