Longing for the days when reality TV shows were focused on teens? Then, wait no longer because we’re heading back to the ’00s when Laguna Beach and Teen Mom were peak TV.

With teenagers today chronicling their entire lives on their TikTok accounts, it only makes sense that Sweethearts, a new reality series from Prime Video, is tapping into what’s happening with the younger generation. Scroll down to meet the teen couples and learn more about the series.

What is Sweethearts about?

Not only will Sweethearts follow the lives of six high school couples, but they’ll also be figuring out whether or not they are going to embark on their college adventure together or apart. The 12 individuals have to navigate the end of high school and have just one summer to decide what their future will look like.

Sweethearts will feature big milestones like prom, spring break, college decision day, and graduation. However, it’s truly the summer after graduation that will alter all they know so far.

“Whatever we choose, it’s going to change our lives forever,” someone says at the end of the official trailer. Produced by the team behind Love Is Blind and Married at First Sight, it is bound to be a hit. Bring on the drama!

When will Sweethearts premiere?

Prime Video announced that Sweethearts will premiere on February 13. It’s going to be the perfect Valentine’s Day binge, especially if you’re are more of a reality TV lover than a rom-com fanatic. The first season will consist of 10 episodes.
