Love on the Spectrum stars people on the autism spectrum who are exploring the world of dating. The show’s U.S. version aired its first season in 2022, followed by Season 2 in 2024.

Now, the show is gearing up for Season 3 on April 2, and many of the cast members we’ve gotten to know are returning. But where do they stand in the relationships they developed during Seasons 1 and 2? Scroll down for an update on the Love on the Spectrum couples.

Connor Tomlinson dated Emily Becker during Season 2, and when the show ended, they were still together. By the time the episodes came out, though, their relationship was strictly platonic. They continued to spend time together as friends.

Tanner & Kate

Tanner Smith had his first date ever with Kate, and although the relationship didn’t work out romantically, the two have stayed close friends.

Journey & Talia

Journey and Talia dated during Season 2, but their relationship reportedly did not progress afterwards.

Dani & Adán

Dani Bowman and Adán Correa tried to make it work, but things appear to have fizzled out. In mid-2024, she revealed that they hadn’t seen each other in a while and were only communicating via text.

When she posted a PDA-filled TikTok in March 2025, but kept the identity of the man beside her a secret, some fans were convinced that Correa was the mystery person in the photos. However, the general consensus is that she’s seeing somebody new.

James & Maggie

During Season 2, James Jones went on a date with Maggie and even had his first kiss with her. However, a title card later revealed that the relationship did not continue.

Abbey & David

Abbey Lutes found love with David Isaacman during Season 1 of Love on the Spectrum, and their romance continued into Season 2. As of 2025, they are still together, which was confirmed via Instagram.

Kaelynn & Peter

Kaelynn Partlow only appeared on one season of Love on the Spectrum. She went on a date with Peter Cole. However, he ghosted her before their second date, and the relationship ended.

Steve & Sharona

Steve Spitz starred on Seasons 1 and 2 of Love on the Spectrum. Things did not work out between him and Sharona, whom he went on a date with in Season 2.

Subodh Garg had never been on a date before he went out with Rachel Osterbach in Season 1. Things progressed, and he even asked her to be his girlfriend. However, in an October 2022 Instagram post, he revealed that they had broken up and remain friends.
