Abbey

Age: 26

Location: Los Angeles

A fan favorite since Season 1, Abbey has been living her best life alongside her boyfriend, David. Abbey expressed to Tudum, “David and I are going on four years together and we go on really fun dates.”

With their joint love for lions, they have done many themed activities. Remember when they went to see them in the wild in Kenya? But, that’s not where the exciting stuff ended. “We got to go to the premiere of the Mufasa movie because we love lions, and I’m David’s lioness,” Abbey divulged.

She added, “I think in memories and pictures, and David thinks in synesthesia which is him seeing colors as numbers. For our next trip, we want to go to Italy to eat pizza together, it’ll be such a romance.”

David

Age: 30

Location: Los Angeles

David turned 30! To celebrate him entering his third decade on earth, he had quite a party. Naturally, the celebration included lions!

“Abbey and her mom took us to visit Moorpark college, where there is a learning zoo,” David recalled to Tudum. “We had a private tour of the lions, tigers, saw Delilah the bird, fed a tortoise, touched a diamondback snake, and saw many more animals.”

That’s not all he and Abbey have been up to. Between a New York City trip and fun hangouts, David has accomplished his quest to spend as much time as possible with her. “She makes me feel loved, happy, and cheers me up if I’m having a bad day,” he said. “We have a lot of fun together and we learn things from each other. I teach her about my synesthesia and she teaches me patience and how to be a good boyfriend. We both love the same foods, the same movies, animals (especially the lion), and enjoy a lot of the same fun activities like theme parks.”

Connor

Age: 25

Location: Atlanta

Connor is ready to head back into the love game again. The Southern gent dipped his toe in the pool of possibilities in Season 2. Not only did he go on a couple of one-on-one dates, but he also went to a speed-dating event!

In his time between filming, he’s been up to a lot! He has been working, making new friends, and traveling to places like New York, London, and Los Angeles. “I even sang on a Broadway stage,” Connor exclaimed to Tudum.

He is also bringing some newfound wisdom into Season 3. “I learned to open doors and pull out chairs for ladies while on my date,” Connor shared. “I have learned some of the rules of dating that were unknown to me. I always text a lady and thank her for her time after the date is over, and learned how challenging, overwhelming the dating world is.”

Adan

Age: 27

Location: San Diego

The lovable Adan was crushing hard on Dani the last time we left off with them, and the feelings appear to still be going strong in Season 3.

Intertwined in a hot and heavy smooch, the trailer showcased that their budding relationship is as cute as ever! He also confirmed he’s “been going to school and starting graphic design as well as working out at the gym and working on building my brand and voice acting career.”

Talking about Dani, he shared some more intel about their connection. “There are similarities that Dani and I have,” he said. “It’s important to be true to yourself even in the relationship [while] being respectful to your partner in the process.”

Dani

Age: 29

Location: Los Angeles

Confident, determined, fun… there are simply not enough positive adjectives to describe Dani. Her tenacity has allowed all of her dreams to come true, and as it turns out, she has a lot on her plate right now.

“Ever tried juggling? Now imagine juggling an animation studio, travel to events around the country, social media, and a personal life — all at once!” she revealed to Tudum. “My company DaniMation keeps me on my toes as we empower people on the autism spectrum to turn their love for animation into careers, while also producing our own in-house and outsourcing animation.”

Besides her career aspirations, she has also used her time in between Season 2 and 3 to think about her previous narrow dating restrictions.

“I’ve learned that love isn’t a rom-com where you meet “the one” and live happily ever after.” She continued, “For most of us, it’s way more complicated and way more real.”

Love on the Spectrum. James in episode 306 of Love on the Spectrum.
Netflix

James

Age: 36

Location: Boston

James threw himself into the dating world the last time we saw him, and he’s ready to do it again. He eagerly mentioned that he’s “very excited” to meet new people in Season 3.

Not revealing too much about his game plan, James quipped, “I have done many different things in my search to find a partner… At this point in my life, I am fairly certain of what I am seeking in a romantic partner.”

James is open about what he has been doing in his time off from Love on the Spectrum. “I have still been working, still been finding time for fun, and I have still been enjoying my fame,” he said.

Love on the Spectrum. Pari in episode 303 of Love on the Spectrum.
Netflix

Pari

Age: 22

Location: Boston

The youngest participant of this season of Love on the Spectrum is newcomer Pari.

Thrilled to showcase her personality, hobbies, and talent, she likes to inspire others by celebrating her autism. Coming into Season 3, she is on a quest to go on dates with women. Before the show, she had dated men but is currently only interested in exploring those connections with women. “I feel much more comfortable dating girls and women. It’s a better match for me,” she said.

Pari knows what she wants “love, support, kindness, comfort, trust, understanding, and loyalty,” and even has an idea of what type of activities she would be interested in on a date, such as dining on gluten-free pasta, riding trains, and walking through beautiful natural settings.

Love on the Spectrum. Tanner in episode 301 of Love on the Spectrum.
Netflix

Tanner

Age: 25

Location: Clemson

In the midst of many exciting activities, Tanner always has time for love! Moving apartments, seeing his sister get married, and some interesting speaking engagements are just some of the activities he has been doing in between seasons. He has also continued thinking about love. “I learned that if you are brave and take a chance on something new and different, you will learn a lot and become a better person” he told Tudum. “It will make you grow and challenge you in a great way!”

Not revealing whether he has a special lady in his life, he did give away one hint, “There are some very lovely ladies in my life! That’s all I’ll say for now!”

Tanner then expressed an important message, “I want people to know that autistic people are not always stuck being the same way … We grow and change just like everyone else.”

Love on the Spectrum. Madison in episode 301 of Love on the Spectrum.
Netflix

Madison

Age: 27

Location: Santa Rosa, CA and Sudbury, MA

Madison is another newcomer who splits her time between California and Massachusetts. She wants to find someone to complement her.

Inspired by Abbey and David, she is trying to find her own soulmate. “Abbey and David’s love story made me think finding love for people who have autism is possible,” Madison told Tudum. She has an idea of what she is currently looking for, “someone who shares common interests and values” and who is “conversational and fun to be around.”
