Felicia Cummings & Frisco Jones

“They really wrote that so lovely, and people just were really drawn to it. They fell in love with love and a commitment you have for someone, getting wrapped up in the romance of your life, almost to a point where you lose yourself, which doesn’t last. That’s not healthy and wasn’t healthy for the characters.”

Wagner has vivid memories of their on-the-run capers filmed on location. “We were in Atlantic City, out on the beach,” she recalls of a 1986 storyline. “We were running from Tessie [Elsa Raven] — I don’t even remember what she did wrong, but we were running from her. We were standing out on the beach and waiting to shoot the scene, and some fans were able to come up and talk to us. And they were so mesmerized by Jack that there was a bird that was taking a poo on their shoulder, and they didn’t realize it. It was hard to keep a straight face as that droppings were coming down on their shoulder. It was pretty funny.”

Felicia Jones & Colton Shore

“That was very strange. It was hard to embrace it because of my personal feelings for Jack after he left the show, so that was a transitional time for me personally. I love Scott Thompson Baker; he’s great. We did some fun personal appearances together. As far as the story goes, it was a little odd. I remember he was in a trance or something.”

Felicia Jones & Tom Hardy

“It was brief, but it was fun. I don’t know if people liked the chemistry of that. It seemed like they cast people that would look like Frisco, but the fans weren’t going to accept that. They weren’t going to accept Colton. They weren’t going to accept Tom Hardy.”

Kristina Wagner & Anthony Geary

“People didn’t like that. They were grossed out by that. But I will say, working with Tony Geary is so fun. It’s just like going down a slide; you’re just on a ride. You don’t even think about lines — you’re just doing it, you’re just living it. He’s so great.”

Felicia Jones & Mac Scorpio

“The early scenes with Mac were light and fun. We were working in the bar together, I think, and we were playing with cocktails and throwing them in the air and trying to imitate Tom Cruise in Cocktail. What I remember is the budding romance of it. He was so different than Frisco and even that took a little bit. We had that scene in a barn where it was romantic and pretty and that might have helped. But Mac is who the mature Felicia is now with, and that’s probably her best match for her best well-being. But as far as the other ones, it’s just part of your life journey and you have fun along the way.”
