Bridgerton‘s fourth season has yet to arrive, but we’ve already seen some major transformations among the cast of characters since the Netflix show’s memorable debut back in December 2020.

The Shondaland hit, based on Julia Quinn’s novels, has delivered three fantastic seasons along with the acclaimed spinoff series, Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story in 2023, but how much has the cast really changed? As fans know by now, there’s the highly-discussed Bridgerton glow-up that leads have seemingly gone through since Season 2’s arrival, but it must also be noted that the younger stars of the series have grown up right before our eyes, particularly the youngest Bridgerton siblings, Gregory and Hyacinth, played by Will Tilston and Florence Hunt.

Fans couldn’t get over how grown up the duo have gotten when they recently hit the 2025 SAG Awards red carpet. “Florence and Will growing up right before our eyes,” one fan account posted on X (formerly known as Twitter). “We literally saw florence and will grow up 🥹🥹🥹,” another fan posted.

Since fans have been noticing Tilston and Hunt’s transformations, we’re taking a look at how the characters of Bridgerton have changed because some characters have evolved quite a bit onscreen since their debuts. Meanwhile, some have barely changed an ounce. (We’re looking at you Luke Thompson as Benedict!)

Among some of the more noteworthy changes between seasons are that of Jonathan Bailey as eldest Bridgerton sibling Anthony, as well as Eloise’s (Claudia Jessie) perceptible evolution. Additionally, the casting shift for Francesca Bridgerton (from Ruby Stokes to Hannah Dodd) means there’s been quite a change in that respect.

Below, we’re rounding up the main Bridgerton family, their recurring loves, and some other key characters in a side-by-side then-and-now comparison between the characters in their first seasons and most recent appearances in Season 3.

Scroll down for a closer look, and let us know what you think of the Bridgerton characters’ evolutions in the comments section below. Plus, stay tuned for some even bigger transformations on the horizon as we await Season 4.
