Exclusive Photos of ’90 Day Fiancé’ Couple James & Meitalia’s Gorgeous Javanese Wedding Ceremony
Congratulations are in order for James and Meitalia from 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way! The couple said “I do” (again) in the October 28 episode, and Swooon is debuting exclusive photos from their Indonesian wedding ceremony.
James and Meitalia wore Javanese royalty attire for their wedding. Traditional royalty attire has now been adopted as wedding attire in Indonesia. “Meitalia chose whichever style she thought looked best on me, which apparently was the topless outfit [laughs]. Meitalia looked beautiful in her traditional Javanese dress,” James told Swooon.
James admitted he had “lots of nerves” on their wedding day. “Excited but very nervous about messing up,” he said. “I loved that we had the opportunity to affirm my love for Meitalia for the village of Sidareja to see and for her parents and family to witness our union. We were already married but never had a ceremony like this.”
Meitalia added, “I was stressed but also excited because the big day was finally here. I felt so grateful to have my family around me on the day and to have been able to have a wedding in my home.”

“I was really excited to finally show him what a traditional Javanese wedding was like and to share a window of my personal history with him, especially with all my family around,” Meitalia said.

The couple did not write vows to one another for the ceremony. No vows are typically said in Indonesian weddings.

Meitalia’s family was able to experience the magic of her wedding ceremony to James since it took place in Indonesia.

So, what’s next for the couple? “To be honest, we are trying to figure it out still! One day at a time, as we like to say. We’re excited for new beginnings that we will go through together as partners,” they said in our interview.

Unfortunately, James’ family was not able to attend the ceremony. They were unable to livestream the ceremony because of the time difference.
