Kelsey Anderson turned 27 on Thursday, April 17, and documented her day via her Instagram Story. She seemingly kept things low-key on her actual birthday by taking a boat ride with three friends.

However, her fiancé, Joey Graziadei, was noticeably missing from the outing. Why weren’t these two together on such an important occasion?

Well, it turns out The Bachelor star was just busy at work! He was over on the East Coast helping to finish out the 2025 Dancing With the Stars tour, so he wasn’t able to be with his bride-to-be on her big day. He did make sure to post a sweet tribute to her on Instagram, though.

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY BEAUTIFUL FIANCÉE!!!” the former tennis pro gushed. “To know Kelsey is to know joy. She brings laughter and brightness into any room she walks into. She beats to her own drum but always does it with a little bit of pizazz.”

He continued, “One thing that I have always loved and appreciated about Kelsey is how much she focuses on making people around her feel loved. She does it for her friends, her family, and even people she barely knows. But my hope is that for today everyone can make her feel loved and appreciated. Kelsey, my life has gotten immensely better with you in it. Our love is anything but ordinary and I can’t wait to continue to see it grow. I love you forever.”

Phew, all is well for these two lovebirds! Anderson also revealed on Instagram that she received a “birthday eve” delivery from her man in the form of flowers. Even though they couldn’t be together, he made sure she felt loved.

Since the DWTS tour is in its final leg, Graziadei should be returning home soon. The couple also spent last weekend together at Coachella and are currently in the process of planning their wedding, although they admittedly haven’t set a date yet.
