Ms. Rachel isn’t just the toddler whisperer through the screen. The sweet-talking internet personality, whose real name is Rachel Griffin Accurso, is a mother figure to kids everywhere, but she’s a mom in real-life, too!

Her family life is often the inspiration for many of the segments in Songs for Littles, which makes sense as her son, Thomas, was the motivation for her to begin the journey. A teacher by trade, her digital career has continued to inspire kids. Ms. Rachel recently announced the arrival of a new addition, and Swooon is doing a deep dive into Ms. Rachel’s kids, husband, and more.

Did Ms. Rachel have a baby?

Thomas is no longer an only child! Rachel’s daughter, Susannah, was born via surrogate in 2025. Accurso announced the news on April 8. She took to Instagram to reveal the exciting secret. “Sometimes timing isn’t what you plan and the road to get there is bumpier than you expect, but when you hold your little ones you know… I’m meant to be your mama,” the 42-year-old expressed.

“I was unable to carry this pregnancy for medical reasons and we were blessed to have a surrogate who gave us the most precious gift possible. We are now all family forever. We have immense gratitude and a deep bond. It’s been a truly beautiful experience. I’m in awe of her.”

On April 14, Ms. Rachel shared a new photo of her daughter, Susannah. “CAN YOU SAY MAMA?” the creator captioned the Instagram photo, which featured the mom and daughter in matching pink shirts, overalls, and headbands, Ms. Rachel’s signature outfit.

Susannah is already inspiring her mom to make more content. She began her YouTube journey to help Thomas catch up with his verbal milestones, but now, he’s “ahead cognitively,” Rachel shared with TODAY.”He’s worked so hard. He’s so brilliant. He was reading before he could speak that well.”

Leading up to her announcement, fans were wondering why Ms. Rachel had been absent from YouTube. She addressed her two-month hiatus on Instagram. When a fan asked about more episodes, Rachel replied, “I’m sorry. We’ve had some family things to attend to. Nothing to do with Netflix, as that is content from YouTube.”

Is Ms. Rachel married?

Yes, she is! Rachel is loud and proud about the love she shares with her husband, Aron. In the Instagram post about Susannah, she said, “Aron – Thank you for being the best husband and dada!”

That wasn’t the only time she has openly professed her love for him. In March, she adorably gushed, “My co-creator, co-pilot, and co-producer—working tirelessly behind the scenes. There’s no Ms. Rachel without Mr. Aron. @aronaccurso Thank you for making my dreams come true, babe! (And of course love of my life, best friend, soulmate! ✨❤️ And amazing dada 🥹💙).”

The couple tied the knot in 2016. They met in 2010 when Rachel moved to New York City to earn her master’s degree in music education, according to The New York Times. They were formally introduced at a Unitarian church on the Upper East Side.

What does Ms. Rachel’s husband do?

Aron is more than just Ms. Rachel’s husband. He is also her co-creator. He is the one who composes the music for her content! Talk about teamwork. The Ms. Rachel YouTube page has amassed over 14 million subscribers.

Prior to their joint YouTube endeavor and Netflix show, Aron worked on Broadway for many years. He is a composer, conductor, and pianist. He has also done some television work, including playing the piano on The Bachelorette. Who would’ve thought a Bachelor Nation and Ms. Rachel crossover would exist?
