Why JoJo Fletcher & Jordan Rodgers Are Bachelor Nation’s Best Couple

I’ll be completely honest: I was initially skeptical that JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers would be able to make their love last after The Bachelorette. It was pretty obvious from the get-go that Fletcher was going to choose Rodgers at the end of Season 12.

I think it was a fairly general consensus at the time that she made her decision so quickly because of his obvious good looks and status — despite being estranged from brother Aaron Rodgers, the famous family tie was still there, plus Rodgers briefly had his own NFL career that put him more in the spotlight than the other suitors.

It seemed to be a purely physical connection that didn’t go much deeper, but that’s obviously proven not to be the case. Fletcher and Rodgers have not only managed to make their love last, but they’ve done it in a way that’s not so in-your-face as other Bachelor Nation couples.

I admire the fact that they’ve distanced themselves from a life that’s so centrally focused on the Bachelor franchise. Yes, Fletcher is still an influencer, and her relationship is on social media. Rodgers used his boost of reality television fame to pivot into a sports broadcasting career, which has already lasted for nearly ten years.

But the couple also lives in Puerto Rico. They’re able to get away from it all. Their relationship is real, and it comes first. They keep their fans updated on their lives while also still maintaining a respectable sense of normalcy and privacy.

Like more recent Bachelor Nation couples, Fletcher and Rodgers didn’t rush down the aisle after getting engaged on the show. They took their time and really made sure their love was going to last before saying “I do.” In fact, they were engaged for four years before they even had plans to tie the knot in 2020. Unfortunately, COVID-19 then made sure they were going to wait even longer, and it wasn’t until 2022 that they married.

They’ve also taken their time when it comes to having kids. Although they’ve been open about the fact that they want to expand their family one day, with Fletcher even opening up about tracking her ovulation cycle, they’re also enjoying being newlyweds and focusing on their careers for the moment.

For the most part, their life just seems … normal. But I also still want to follow them and know more about them. It’s the perfect balance.

Plus, it doesn’t hurt that they look extremely good together!
