Will Maria Georgas Be on ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Season 10? Her Future With the Franchise

Maria Georgas became a Bachelor Nation fan favorite after appearing on Season 28 of The Bachelor in 2024. She turned down the opportunity to be the lead on The Bachelorette afterwards, but is a stint on Bachelor in Paradise in her future?
The reality star appeared on the Thursday, April 3, episode of Gia Giudice’s Casual Chaos podcast and addressed her future with the show.
Unfortunately, Georgas will not be heading to the beach this summer for Season 10 of Bachelor in Paradise. She said that she does not want to put herself in a situation where she’s “fighting for a man” again. Georgas referred to her experience on The Bachelor as “draining” and said that’s the biggest reason why she didn’t want to jump right into filming The Bachelorette without a reset.
Giudice also brought up the rumor that Georgas was asked to be the Bachelorette again before the show went on hiatus for 2025. The Canada native skirted around the question a bit, though.
“I really don’t want to be part of that narrative again because of what happened the last time,” Georgas explained, referring to her 2024 appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast where she revealed that she was asked to be the Bachelorette before Jenn Tran was chosen. At the time, Georgas received some backlash from critics who thought she was taking away from Tran’s moment.
“Nowadays it’s just better to kind of just let it be,” Georgas explained. “I know people are interested. I know when I’m asked I want to [answer], but I just think … I don’t know. I don’t even know how to answer it. Bachelorette being on pause is probably a good thing for them. There’s a lot of girls that came out and said they were asked, so maybe they’ll pick one of them. I’m really trying to answer this. I’m so scarred of that interview coming out and what happened the last time that I just don’t want to be part of this narrative anymore.”
Georgas, who confirmed that she’s currently single, isn’t writing off reality television completely, though. In fact, she said she’s interested in appearing on other shows, including Summer House, in the future. It just won’t be one where she has to fight other women for a guy!
