‘Farmer Wants a Wife’: John Sansone Reacts to Samantha’s Shocking Kiss Rejection

Farmer Wants a Wife‘s John Sansone was left stunned during the March 27 episode of the reality dating series. He took Samantha out for the first solo date, but their night hit a snag.
John chose Samantha as the dater he wanted to bring home to the farm first before the rest of the women. They had a romantic picnic and conversation, but when John went in for a kiss, Samantha stopped him.
“I cannot kiss you on camera,” Samantha told him. “There is a reason for that. I’m going to marry someone someday. It might be you. It might not be you, and I do not want something of me kissing another man on television.”
Swooon spoke with Farmer John about this stunning turn of events. “It was a pretty big revelation,” he said.

“I was a little mad because it was a tiny bit humiliating, but it was nice to have the martini there because that definitely helped,” John continued. “That also could have been a reason that I actually went for the kiss. I mean, everybody’s got their own reasons for doing what they do. I respect it, whatever, move on.”
During the episode, John made sure to note to Samantha that “obviously, it is a dating show.” She told him, “Those are my values, and that’s what I believe, and I don’t want that of me on the internet anywhere because I want my husband to have more than that.”
During his interview with Swooon, John pointed out, “I don’t know about you, but every single signal in the book was there.” He later quipped, “Hate to break it to you, but you’re here to kiss.”
It’s unclear how Samantha’s no-kiss rule will impact her relationship with John. He brought her back to the farm first because she was a “challenge.” He pointed out that Samantha liked to “mean flirt,” which he enjoyed.
Will Samantha’s mean flirting be enough? Only time will tell!
