HGTV’s Jenny & Dave Marrs Are Proud Parents! Meet Their 5 Kids

Jenny Marrs and Dave Marrs have been sharing their lives with HGTV fans since the premiere of Fixer to Fabulous in 2019. Through the show, which is currently in its sixth season, and the couple’s social media accounts, viewers have gotten to know their kids over the years, too.
The children do still show up on Fixer to Fabulous once in a while, although they’ve taken a step back from filming as they’ve gotten older.
“They really don’t want to be on camera very often,” Jenny admitted in a January Instagram post. “(And it’s always been up to them – they can participate or not – and naturally some of our kiddos are much more camera shy than others) but they’re typically right there behind the camera lens most days (unless they’re at basketball practice or soccer or art camp or horseback riding…).”

Nathan and Ben (twins)
The couple’s oldest children are twins Nathan and Ben. They were born on May 29, 2010. Before conceiving the twins, the couple “struggled for years” with infertility, Jenny revealed in an interview with Kelly’s Korner. She said the twins were conceived after a “last ditch effort with fertility treatments.”

However, things didn’t get easier from there. Nathan and Ben were “born prematurely and spent a month in the NICU,” she added. Jenny was just 29 weeks pregnant when she went into pre-term labor. The boys were born four weeks later.
“They had an equally terrifying entrance into the world and then were cared for with immense love and compassion for four more weeks by the NICU staff at our local Mercy Hospital,” Jenny shared on Instagram in 2023. “Dave and I lived in the hospital for a month, moving from available room to available room (even sleeping on cots in the cleaning closet for a few nights when there were no rooms available).”
In a 2022 interview with Closer Weekly, Dave revealed that Ben is an “artist,” while Nathan is “more the builder, like, hands-on.”
Sylvie
Sylvie is Dave and Jenny’s adopted daughter from the Democratic Republic of Congo. The couple had begun the adoption process before Jenny’s miracle pregnancy with Nathan and Ben, then picked it up again when the boys were 18 months old. They first learned about Sylvie in November 2012 but wouldn’t bring her home for quite some time.

Although the paperwork was all finalized in August 2013, and Jenny and Dave expected to bring their baby girl home the next month, they faced another setback. “In September of 2013, the Congolese government issued a suspension on exit permits for all internationally adopted children. This meant our legally adopted daughter could not leave her birth country. We were absolutely devastated,” Jenny revealed.
Finally, they were able to bring Sylvie home in July 2014. At that point, she was already a toddler. She arrived just two days after they found out she was headed their way.
“She is an amazing cook,” Dave told Closer. “She likes to bake.”
Charlotte
Charlotte Marrs was born on May 16, 2014, just two months before Sylvie joined the family. Jenny said that Charlotte and Sylvie had “the most precious bond” after being welcomed into the family around the same time.

“That summer was WILD. Two four year olds, a newborn, and a newly adopted toddler is an equation for chaos,” Jenny recalled. “We struggled and lost a small amount of our sanity. Yet, we treasured those long-fought-for moments and pinched ourselves as we praised God for abundantly answering our prayers.”
Charlotte appears to take after her parents and has a knack for design. “When we are actually in the Welcome Inn, [Dave] builds a dollhouse that replicates the inn and [Charlotte] likes to set [it] up,” Jenny dished to Closer, referring to a property that the family renovated on Fixer to Fabulous: Welcome Inn. “She spent hours, hours, setting up all of the furniture and making sure everything was perfect. And so she really loves it and she loves to help me pick pink colors and that kind of thing.”
Luke
The Marrs family was complete when Luke was born on June 11, 2019. Like Charlotte, Luke also has a very close bond with big sister Sylvie.
“I don’t think there’s ever been a better depiction of love than these two,” Jenny gushed in 2020. “Born on different continents and brought together by the very hand of a God who still performs breathtaking miracles.”
In their 2022 interview with Closer, the couple referred to Luke as a “wildfire running around.”
