What Is ‘Temptation Haven’? Inside ‘Temptation Island’s Scandalous Twist

Season 9 of Temptation Island introduced a spicy new twist that made the stakes even higher for the four couples. In Episode 5, host Mark L. Walberg announced the new “temptation haven.”
With some of the relationships already tested, this twist added a new layer of temptation. The new private tents in each of the villas brought possibilities that threatened to break up the struggling couples.
The “temptation havens” were secluded areas in the villas where the cameras were not allowed. “This is an opportunity for you to explore temptation more fully when the cameras are off, if you want to,” Walberg told the ladies. “Both houses have them.”

However, in another twist, he added that anytime someone goes into one of the tents, a light will go on in the other villa to let the group know that someone has entered “temptation haven.” But the identity of the people who went inside won’t be revealed until the bonfire.
While speaking to the men, he detailed the new twist even further, adding, “It’s got a place to sit down and lie down, some candles, a nice vibe in there. What it doesn’t have are any cameras. Other than what we may hear, we’re not going to see it, which means we’re not going to see it [at the bonfire]. This is your chance to explore a connection without worrying what others will see.”
One couple wasted no time taking advantage of the “temptation haven.” Just hours after the bonfire, Tyler and Kay snuck away for some private time. The two had spent the night before cuddling in bed but didn’t hookup. While we can’t know for sure what happened once they were in the haven — no cameras, after all — all signs point to them taking their physical connection to the next level. Meanwhile, the girlfriends were left wondering which of their boyfriends chose to give into temptation.
Later that night, Tyler and Natalie, who had already hooked up the night before, also decided to give “temptation haven” a try.
