‘Perfect Match’ Boss Teases ‘Totally Unique’ Season 3: ‘Unlike Anything You’ve Seen’

Perfect Match is keeping things new and exciting in its upcoming third season. The show was renewed for Season 3 in June 2024 and is expected to return with new episodes later this year.
Swooon caught up with the Netflix series’ creator, Chris Coelen, for scoop on what to expect when the dating show comes back.
“This is totally unique,” Coelen revealed. “Season 3 of Perfect Match is completely unlike anything that you’ve seen, and stuff that happens and, and [the] sort of consequences it creates is unlike anything that you’ve seen so far on Perfect Match. It’s pretty cool.”
The show features stars from other Netflix shows pairing up to find who the most compatible couple is. While none of the couples from the first two seasons are still together, things are already looking to be on a good trajectory for Season 3.
During the Love Is Blind Season 8 reunion on Sunday, March 9, the first two cast members for Season 3 of Perfect Match were revealed. AD Smith and Ollie Sutherland were welcomed to the stage by hosts Nick Lachey and Vanessa Lachey, and it was announced that they had gotten engaged after meeting on Perfect Match.
Footage from the proposal aired, with Ollie telling AD, “You’re my best friend. You’re the love of my life. I’ve never felt as happy or as complete as I have since I met you. And nothing would make me happier than to spend the rest of my life loving you.” AD was previously on Season 6 of Love Is Blind, while Ollie participated on Season 1 of Love Is Blind: UK, but their relationships on the shows were unsuccessful.
“We went from inside the pods and over the pond straight to the beach, where we’re joining Season 3 of Perfect Match,” the couple confirmed. An exact premiere date for Perfect Match Season 3 has not been confirmed.
