‘The Bachelor’s Grant Ellis Says He Handled Fantasy Suites ‘As If My Wife Will Be Watching’

Fantasy suites are a pivotal part of any journey on The Bachelor or The Bachelorette. Not only is it the chance to explore a relationship on a deeper physical level, but it’s also an opportunity for the couples to have important discussions about the future without cameras present.
Needless to say, with intimacy on the table, not every lead has handled the overnight dates in the best way. In an exclusive interview with Swooon, Grant Ellis teased what to expect from the upcoming fantasy suites episode for Season 29.
“It’s very important, but I just tried to handle things the right way,” Ellis explained. “Like, as if my wife will be watching back, and I feel really good about how I handled myself. If I went back and did it again, I would do the exact same thing. I know there was a lot of kisses during the season, but in terms of a fantasy suites, I handled myself the best way that I could.”
With just three women left — Litia Garr, Juliana Pasquarosa, and Zoe McGrady — Ellis is just weeks away from deciding who he wants to propose to at the final rose ceremony. Previews have shown the former basketball star struggling to make his final choice, but he previously told Swooon that he ultimately knew what he wanted to do.
“It’s just building up to doing it and making that decision,” he shared. “In sports, they call it crunch time. It was crunch time, and you have to make a decision. You have two amazing women with amazing qualities and to go ahead and let somebody down is the hard part.”
Before we see all of that, though, the women who have been eliminated so far will reunite with Ellis during the Women Tell All special on Monday, March 10. Then, Ellis will send one more person home following fantasy suites on March 17, leaving him with just two ladies left in the finale.
