Chelsea Handler Addresses Ralph Fiennes Romance Rumors: Are They Dating?
Chelsea Handler and Ralph Fiennes set the rumor mill on fire when they walked out of the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party hand-in-hand on Sunday, March 2. Photographed as they exited the event, the Oscar-winning actor and comedian kept quiet for a few days, which only fueled romance speculation.
Handler isn’t one to shy away from hot topics, so it didn’t take long for her to address the rumors. So, is there a new “it” couple in Hollywood?
Handler told Entertainment Tonight that she and the Conclave star simply “went from one party to another party.” She also emphasized that it wasn’t just the two of them but rather a whole “group of people” who trekked to the next location.
“I don’t think Ralph Fiennes is marriage material,” she shared with the outlet. “And I don’t think I’m marriage material.” Handler said that they “might be a good pairing in that sense,” but added, “I don’t think either one of us is getting married.”
She didn’t exactly say they weren’t dating.
The 50-year-old understands the public’s fascination with the duo. Before their Oscars outing, Handler and Fiennes also participated in a bit during her Critics Choice Awards hosting stint on February 7.
She praised Halina Reijn’s Babygirl as “one of my favorite movies of the year,” and then specifically referenced Nicole Kidman‘s character. She recreated the film’s iconic scene by chugging a full glass of milk as Fiennes encouraged her by repeating Harris Dickinson‘s line, “Good girl. Good girl, Good girl.”
Part of the reason why fans have latched onto the romance rumors is because Handler is currently dating someone, but she’s keeping quiet about her mystery man.
She revealed on The Jamie Kern Lima Show that she has been seeing someone for nearly a year.
Handler said, “I have someone that I’m seeing now that I’m very attracted to and that I like having sex with, and so that’s a really good like nice little thing I have going.”
