‘American Idol’ Winner Iam Tongi Gushes Over ‘Beautiful’ Girlfriend in Rare Post About Their Love
Iam Tongi rarely posts about his personal life on social media. However, the American Idol Season 21 winner gave fans a small look into his life with his girlfriend, Leah, in a rare post on Sunday, March 2.
The singer actually shared two posts about Leah, including one photo of them together. First, he posted a quick clip of his partner wearing a hat and captioned it, “I miss you so much beautiful.”
The next post was a photo of the two together, which Tongi captioned, “I’ll be home soon.” Tongi is often on the road to support his music career.

Very little is known about Tongi’s relationship with Leah. However, it’s confirmed that they started dating in December 2023. He revealed the anniversary date in a tribute post to honor their first year together in December 2024.
“1 year ago you forced me to ask you out, nah nah,” Tongi captioned the Instagram, which featured solo photos of Leah, as well as images of them together. “jk jk, I love you babe, forever.” The romance began less than seven months after Tongi was crowned the champion of American Idol.

In September 2024, Tongi gave another brief insight into his relationship with Leah by posting some more photos for her birthday. “She makes me smile, happy birthday beautiful,” he wrote as the caption.
His fans were thrilled about the update and flooded the comments section with supportive messages. “Great to see you happy! You deserve it all,” someone wrote. Another person said, “How sweet this is..,” and someone else added, “I’m so happy for you both, I’m grateful.”
For the most part, Tongi uses his social media to promote his music and share updates from the road. He released his first post-show single, “Why Kiki?” in 2023.
