Grant Ellis is going into the hometowns section of his experience on The Bachelor. Ahead of sharing important bonding time with his potential in-laws, the handsome day trader had to part ways with three other hopefuls.

In a shocking turn of events, he sent early frontrunner Alexe Godin home as well as the season’s “villain” Carolina Sofía and Sarafiena Watkins. Fans were upset that Alexe was sent home, especially after she received the first impression rose and first one-on-one date. Viewers were also confused that Zoe, who has yet to have a one-on-one date with Grant, got a rose over Alexe.

The sentiment across the board is pretty clear: the audience doesn’t understand how Alexe didn’t get a rose. Now, many are hoping she could become the next lead of The Bachelorette when the time comes.

As for Carolina, many were entertained by the Puerto Rican native, but they also didn’t think she was the right fit for the lead. “Carolina did all that to not even get the hometowns rose,” one fan wrote on X. Another wrote, “CAROLINA IS GOING HOME!!!! CELEBRATE WITH ME LADIES!!!”

Popular influencer Zachary Reality shared his take on Grant’s decision on TikTok. He said, “I’m really sad Carolina went home,” and followed it with, “They had such a big connection, and there was a growing story that like I would have liked to see Carolina’s hometown.”

Sarafiena was also sent home ahead of hometowns. After having gotten a one-on-one in Spain, people were expecting her to make it a little while longer.

Now the debate has started about who Grant is going to propose to. His final four are Litia Garr, who has already been on two one-on-ones, Juliana Pasquarosa, Dina Lupancu, and Zoey.
