The Golden Bachelorette has been wrapped up for quite a while now, so has fan favorite Charles Ling found a special someone to spend his golden years with?

Hopping on the Golden Hour podcast with Kathy Swarts and Susan Noles, Ling revealed all of his secrets, including his bountiful Instagram account that has gathered plenty of DMs. Chit-chatting with The Golden Bachelor ladies, the retired financial analyst was quick to respond to all of their questions about his personal life.

“Other than making millions on the stock market. Are you looking for a woman to spend all that money on?” Swarts asked. Noles promptly added, “Have you dated?”

Ling responded, “No.” He jokingly continued, “They check my wallet. It’s not big enough.”

Not satisfied with just that answer, the pals had to get to the bottom of Ling’s current romantic situation. They followed up with, “Has anybody asked you out?” and “Are women not reaching into your DMs, sliding into your DMs as they say? Is that not happening?”

Ling admitted that he does get quite a few messages, but he hasn’t answered them yet. He affirmed that his subconscious is making him wait “for that right lady,” and recalled that while on the phone with Chock Chapple, he shared that he is “pretty slow” in that aspect “for whatever reason.”

Trying to get more of a feel of his current situation, Swarts then wondered if he’s currently on any dating profiles. The widower once again confessed, “No.” This didn’t shock Noles. She said, “He doesn’t even answer the DMs, and you expect him to be on the dating sites?”

The women concluded, “He is waiting for a woman to swoop in and sweep him off his feet,” to which Ling responded, “Maybe you coach me how to move forward.” Swarts eagerly agreed. Does this mean we’ll see Ling with a new partner soon?

One way to find a new love could be on a potential Golden Bachelor in Paradise season. A spinoff hasn’t been confirmed yet, but many of Bachelor Nation are craving for the hypothetical series to become a reality. Ling liked this idea. He even had some suggestions. “I would love to bump into a nice lady and go on a cruise,” he said.

Swarts and Noles were immediately down for that and were hoping that Ling knew some information that they didn’t.  “This is only my personal dream,” he confided.

Then, there’s another route to romance that Ling discussed: blind dates. He divulged that some of his local friends have wanted to set him up, but he hasn’t actually gone on one yet. This baffled the podcast hosts who urged him to open himself up more.

Love is still something he wants. He went on The Golden Bachelorette to potentially find love with Joan Vassos. Even though it didn’t work out, he’s still grateful. “I really enjoyed every single moment,” he earnestly said.  Ling added, “I am so happy for them, Joan and Chock.”
