All About ‘Love Is Blind’ Season 8 Standout Joey Leveille & His Status on the Show
Joey Leveille has made a splash in Love Is Blind‘s eighth installment. The affable 35-year-old immediately met his match in Monica Danús, and fans of the series are already rooting for them to say “I do” after getting engaged.

What does Joey do for a living?
Steeped into the world of medicine, the physician’s associate has been in the field ever since he started his tutoring journey in 2014 at Rutger’s University. Since his graduation in 2015, he began to actually practice the profession.

Still at CVS MinuteClinic, according to LinkedIn, Joey has climbed the ladder from Executive Float Practitioner to Senior Practice Manager. Within the span of nine years, he has had five different roles.
Where is Joey from?
A proud Minnesotan, Joey’s origin is quite clear in Love Is Blind. With an almost comically accurate Minnesota accent, he didn’t have to clarify that he’s actually from the Land of 10,000 lakes. Bring Me The News, a Minnesota news source, even stated, “Joey is very clearly one of us.”
His fellow contestants also noticed the accent and made it an occurring joke to try to replicate Joey’s way of talking.
What has Joey said about his OCD diagnosis?
Not much has been revealed about Joey’s OCD just yet, but the next batch of episodes promises to explore his experience. The preview showed a moment of Joey explaining his OCD, “Everything’s done in, like, a numbered way.” He followed with, “How many times I drink something. How many times I will pick something up.”
Are Joey and Monica still together?
They are still happily together by the end of Episode 6.
Slowly proving themselves to be the “golden couple” of the season, Joey and Monica were the first item to get engaged on Love Is Blind. Hitting it off from the get-go, the family-orientated duo are the favorites of the season. Both were thrilled about each other’s quirkiness, and their budding love has been an amazing to watch.
