Grant Ellis narrowed down his contestants on Season 29 of The Bachelor to his final two women and made a life-changing decision. The former basketball pro started with 25 ladies, but Juliana Pasquarosa and Litia Garr were the last two women left standing.

Although Juliana didn’t have a one-on-one date with Grant until week five, she still managed to make a lasting impression on the Bachelor. In the end, she won his heart. With sultry eyes, quirky humor, and a whole lot of love to give, she was one of the contestants to watch all season long.

During the March 24 finale, Grant proposed to Juliana with a gorgeous engagement ring. After keeping their relationship a secret for so long, the engaged couple is thrilled about their next chapter. It turns out that Grant is moving to Boston to be with Juliana! They will also be heading to Italy on a much-needed romantic getaway.

JULIANA, GRANT ELLIS BACHELOR - “2902” - Still on a high following night one, Grant and the women continue their journey for love in Los Angeles. With exciting dates that tap Grant’s love of sports, music and playful energy, jealousy amongst the women leads to a tense cocktail party. MONDAY, FEB. 3 (8:00-10:01 p.m. EST) on ABC.

Where is Juliana from?

The East Coast-based Bachelor contestant announced her Bostonian upbringing from the get-go. A proud Italian-American, she quickly made everyone aware that she runs on pasta. She does, however, not actually live in the city of Boston but rather in the nearby Newton, Massachusetts.

Close to her entire family who are based in the same region, it was actually Juliana’s older sister who signed her up for the show. The 28-year-old jokingly quipped that her sibling didn’t even tell her about it on Instagram. She followed it up with, “Here goes nothing.”

When Juliana took Grant to meet her family on her hometown date, he got a tour of her town and quickly saw how much of an impact the Pasquarosas have on Newton. People recognized Juliana in the streets and inside various businesses, and the gathering at her family’s home was massive.

Juliana Pasquarosa’s job

Juliana is a client service associate at Winthrop Wealth. With her and Grant working in similar industries, they already have that in common and will most likely be able to set out a comfortable living for themselves.

The COO of Winthrop Wealth congratulated Juliana for her journey on the show on LinkedIn. He called it a “once-in-a-lifetime experience,” and she thanked the team for “encouraging” her to take it. Juliana still works there now. Prior to her current career, she was a social media manager.

Starting her college career at the University of Alabama and majoring in Marketing, she then transferred to Lasell College in Newton to finish her degree, according to her LinkedIn.

Juliana Pasquarosa’s family

Juliana is proud to come from a “big Italian family.” However, during her one-on-one date with Grant, she opened up about a family member who dealt with addiction.

While she didn’t specify which family member it was, Juliana told Grant, whose father is a recovering addict, “Growing up, I was put in a difficult position where someone really close to me had a problem with addiction. It took the time away from me as a small kid from growing up in the loving family I am so appreciative (of) today — I didn’t really have that back then.”

She continued, “I think the struggle has made me stronger. That is why I come off as happy all the time. I’m afraid of the darkness that I saw. I’m afraid of going back there.”
