‘XO, Kitty’ Stars Sang Heon Lee & Minyeong Choi Debate Min Ho and Dae’s ‘Rizz’ (VIDEO)
XO, Kitty Season 2 may be over, but our obsession with the series’ heartthrobs is not. Minyeong Choi and Sang Heon Lee play two of the many characters in Kitty’s open-ended love life: Min Ho and Dae. But the two KISS students could not be more different.
The two have wooed Kitty, played by Anna Cathcart, in their own charismatic ways over the course of the past two seasons. After all, Dae had maintained a long-distance relationship with Kitty all the way from South Korea while she was still living in the states (until she found out he was cheating on her in a fake relationship). However, Min Ho went from being Kitty’s biggest nemesis to one of her greatest allies after letting the walls of his hard exterior come down just enough for her to see the softie inside of him.
Not to mention, Season 2’s ambiguous finale on where Kitty and Min Ho’s relationship is headed felt reminiscent of Kitty and Dae’s muddled airport confrontation at the end of Season 1.
If grating banter and low voices are your thing, then you’re definitely a Min Ho girl. If heartfelt letters and puppy eyes are more your speed, then Dae would easily sweep you off your feet.
In an interview with Swooon, Lee and Choi were actually in consensus that between Dae and Min Ho, there was one right answer to the question: Who has more “rizz?” (Charisma, for short.)
“Oh, definitely Min Ho,” said Choi, who plays Dae.
“Yeah, I was trying to think about it,” laughed Lee. “But I was like, yeah, Dae really needs to work on some of this.” The two actors shared a laugh together after coming to such a definitive answer.
“It depends on how you define rizz, but in my knowledge, if we’re talking about rizz…,” closed Choi.
Rizz or no rizz, Dae and Min Ho, you will always have our hearts.
