’S.W.A.T.’ Star Shemar Moore & Girlfriend Jesiree Dizon Split After 4 Years of Dating
Shemar Moore is single again. The S.W.A.T. star and girlfriend Jesiree Dizon have called it quits, TMZ first reported.
The exes debuted their relationship on Instagram in January 2023, the same year they welcomed their daughter, Frankie, but had known each other for years prior. They were first linked in 2008 but reconnected in 2020.
“They are loving friends and co-parents and always will be,” a source told People. Just a couple of months before their split, the Criminal Minds alum opened up about Dizon.
He called his then-partner a “dope-ass mama.” However, Moore admitted that he didn’t see himself getting married to Dizon. “I didn’t have a good role model of marriage in my life. Not my mother, not my father. Nobody close to me,” he told People. “‘Who made that rule?’”
In an earlier interview with the magazine, the 54-year-old was open to “possibly” having more kids in the future. “But I ain’t no Spring Chicken and Ms. Thing [Jesiree], she’s already got two wonderful kids — her son, Kayden, who’s 17, and her little daughter Charlie, who’s 6 — and they’re sweethearts,” he said. “And then we got little Frankie. We got our dog, Tyson. So we got a full house.”
A week before their split announcement, Moore and Dizon celebrated their daughter’s second birthday. “Frankie’s 2 TODAY!!! Our little sassy beautiful, smart, HAPPY MIRACLE!!!! THE LOVE OF MY LIFE!! It’s Frankie’s world!!! Thank You Jesiree. HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY GIRL,” the actor wrote on Instagram.
Moore is a proud dad and loves to gush over his daughter. “[Frankie] is the reason I’m so damn happy, and my girl Jesiree. That’s my little baby girl. That’s my miracle. That’s little Frankie,” he said during his January 2024 appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show. “That girl truly has given me purpose. She saved my life.”
