Nikki Garcia (formerly Nikki Bella) is starting over after her divorce from Artem Chigvintsev. The former WWE star is still fresh off the split from her husband of two years, but she’s starting to find herself again.

So, is another marriage and more kids — she and Chigvintsev share son Matteo, who turned 4 in July — in her future? Garcia opened up about what she envisions for her love life as time goes on.

“I don’t ever want to sign paperwork again,” Garcia told Us Weekly, shutting down the idea of ever actually tying the knot again. “If I find the right person, I don’t mind [a commitment ceremony], but I don’t want to be legally [bound].” Before marrying Chigvintsev, she was engaged to John Cena, but they split in 2018 before making it down the aisle.

When it comes to having more children, Garcia added, “I definitely do not want more kids. I am fine.”

However, she’s open to dating … just not yet. “I can definitely see myself falling in love again,” Garcia gushed. “I don’t think it’ll be anytime soon. I think it’s going to take me a while to get back in that place and also to just feel confident about my body.”

She also confirmed that she still believes in true love, adding, “I truly feel people come into your life for a reason. People come in and they teach us things. And sometimes, when those loves don’t work out, you have to look and go, ‘What did I learn and what did I gain?’ Because there’s always beauty in it.”

When Garcia and Chigvintsev first split in August 2024, things were messy. He was arrested for felony domestic violence, but criminal charges ended up not being filed against him. Both Garcia and Chigvintsev have different accounts of who the aggressor was during the August incident, and they were granted restraining orders against each other. When the exes settled the divorce in November 2024, the restraining orders were dropped, and they were awarded joint custody.

Now, the stars are co-parenting their toddler. “It’s wild that one day it’s like, ‘OK, here are the days you get your son,’ and that’s just what you do,” Garcia admitted. “For me, that part is incredibly tough. I had never been in our home without him. So getting through those days is extremely difficult because I just love being around my son so much.”

However, she and Chigvintsev have come together for important occasions, like the holidays. “Everything’s kind of been about us just having our own homes. You get to go see Mommy and you get to go see Daddy.” she explained. “On Christmas, we made sure we were both there when we baked Santa’s cookies. Matteo went to bed and we both were there when he woke up. Because he’s our focus, we want to keep those moments.”
