‘Below Deck Sailing Yacht’ Split! Daisy Kelliher Announces Keith Allen Breakup

Fans of Below Deck Sailing Yacht witnessed the beginning of the romance between deckhand Daisy Kelliher and chief stew Keith Allen.
Engulfed with emotions, the duo even shared an on-camera kiss in the Season 5 finale and a promise of seeing each other back on land. This happened as the Bravolebrities were in a long-distance relationship for a year. However, the two have since gone their separate ways.
Kelliher announced the sad news during her January 27 appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. Explaining their arrangement, the 37-year-old concluded, “It wasn’t ever very serious.” She continued, “We were in each other’s lives for a year and, unfortunately, it ended because of distance.”
There’s no bad blood between the two as Kelliher added, “We had an amazing time.” She emphasized, “It’s always sad when something ends.”
Although the two enjoyed their time as an couple, Kelliher admitted that she and Allen never left the “situationship” phase.
The former couple were in completely different locations. Allen went on to work on more boats in the Caribbean while Kelliher relocated to London. “Unless he was moving over to Europe, it was never really going to work,” she said.
This didn’t upset her too much as she never really expected they would end up taking their romance to shore. Kelliher explained that her interest in Allen grew “as we got to know each other.”
Everyone watching became invested in their courtship once both Kelliher and Allen opened up about their feelings for one another.
During her solo time in a confessional, Kelliher divulged, “I think when you’re younger and you’re having fun, you put up with anything. But now I think I’m mature enough to realize I deserve better.” She added, “I don’t know what’s gonna happen in the future. Maybe Keith and I will get married and have a baby? I’m joking. That’s definitely not gonna happen. But you know, we don’t know!”
Allen on his end said, “When I’m working, I’m like in a work zone, and if there’s any kind of romance, it just gets messy. But I kind of realized that Daisy and I see the world almost through a similar lens.” He continued, “And for me, when you build a connection with someone, that makes it 100 percent worth it. Daisy is someone that I’m going to be in touch with for a long time, I hope.”
