Grant Ellis‘ journey to find his wife on The Bachelor began on January 27, and we were right to keep our eyes on Litia Garr.

On March 24, Grant’s final lucky lady will be revealed, and Litia is one of this season’s favorites. A standout from the get-go, the Utah resident had something unique going for her. She had a connection to Spencer Conley, one of Grant’s pals from their time on The Bachelorette. While both vying for Jenn Tran‘s heart, a lasting friendship formed.

Litia’s connection to Grant’s friend didn’t give her an upper-hand. Her bright personality intrigued Grant from the beginning. Scroll down to learn more about Litia.

Who is Litia Garr?

Ahead of her Bachelor debut, Litia described herself as “a vibrant, empathetic, and confident woman with a lot of love to give” in her ABC bio.

The 31-year-old said she was ready for someone “who is honest, vulnerable and family oriented.” Litia especially emphasized that she “loves sports and enjoys watching basketball, football and water polo. She also loves riding horses.”

In her fun facts, Litia revealed she was “an incredibly fast swimmer.” Litia dished that she “loves a good personality test and loves being outside,” but she did state that she “hates hiking.”

Litia quickly emerged as a frontrunner as the season went on. Grant, who confessed to not dropping the L-word casually, said “I love you” to Litia during the fantasy suites episode of the show. He also mentioned that he could see her becoming his wife.

This sounds promising, right? Don’t be too sure that she’ll be the one engaged in the end. After blurting it out, Grant began to doubt himself because of his feelings for his other final contestant, Juliana Pasquarosa.

What does Litia do for a living?

Litia is a venture capitalist. She is currently the Head of Platform & Community at Pelion Venture Partners, according to her LinkedIn.

The Salt Lake City resident has been working at the company since 2016. Litia started as a receptionist and has had many different roles within the company.

Is Litia Mormon?

Yes. Litia has stressed that religion plays an important part in her life. Litia attended the famous Mormon institution, Brigham Young University. However, instead of the Utah location, she spent her college years at the Hawaii chapter, which makes sense as she spent her first years there until she and her mom relocated to Utah after her dad died.

In a heart-to-heart, Litia opened up about her faith to Grant. Litia confessed that she usually only dates other people who practice her religion. Grant identifies as a Christian. Raised in a very “conservative” family, Litia prepped Grant about who he was going to meet during that segment of the show.

During her hometown visit, Litia told her mother that she would not be sleeping with Grant in the fantasy suite. “It would hurt my feelings if he slept with other girls. I’m not going to sleep with him,” she said.

How does Litia know Spencer Conley?

Both Bachelor Nation contestants hail from Utah, and they have hung around in the same circles.

When going through the initial stages of becoming one of Grant’s ladies, Litia mentioned having dated Conley’s younger brother. Conley opened up on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast, “My brother had nothing but great things to say. She seems awesome.”

When prompted if he would ever date Litia if things don’t work out between her and Grant, Conley said, “I can’t date someone that went on dates with my brother.” He continued, “That’s weird. I’m the older brother.”
