Get to Know ‘Bachelor’ Contestant Litia Garr & Her Connection to Grant Ellis’ Pal
Grant Ellis‘ journey to find his wife on The Bachelor begins January 27, and you’ll want to keep your eyes out for Litia Garr.
Obviously, it’s not known who Grant’s final lucky lady is yet, but Litia already has something unique going for her. She has a connection to Spencer Conley. Conley and Grant became pals during their time on The Bachelorette. While both vying for Jenn Tran‘s heart, a lasting friendship formed.
Grant will be meeting all of the lucky ladies chosen for his season during The Bachelor premiere, which means he’ll be crossing paths with Litia for the first time. Scroll down to get up to speed on this contestant.
Who is Litia Garr?
Ahead of her Bachelor debut, Litia described herself as “a vibrant, empathetic, and confident woman with a lot of love to give” in her ABC bio.
The 31-year-old is ready for someone “who is honest, vulnerable and family oriented.” She does, however, already know some things that she and Grant will bond over. Litia especially emphasized that she “loves sports and enjoys watching basketball, football and water polo. She also loves riding horses.” Besides that, Litia is also partial to a game of Clue.
In her fun facts, Litia detailed to be “an incredibly fast swimmer,” alongside some of her likes and dislikes. Litia “loves a good personality test and loves being outside,” but she did state that she “hates hiking.”
What does Litia do for a living?
Litia is a venture capitalist. She is currently the Head of Platform & Community at Pelion Venture Partners, according to her LinkedIn.
The Salt Lake City resident has been working at the company since 2016. Litia started as a receptionist and has had many different roles within the company.
Is Litia Mormon?
Yes. Litia has said that religion plays an important part in her life. Not super vocal about her part in the Church of the Latter Day Saints on social media, she does follow the official account on Instagram.
Litia attended the famous Mormon institution, Brigham Young University. However, instead of the Utah location, she spent her college years at the Hawaii chapter.
How does Litia know Spencer Conley?
Both Bachelor Nation contestants hail from Utah, and they have hung around in the same circles.
When going through the initial stages of becoming one of Grant’s ladies, Litia mentioned having dated Conley’s younger brother. Conley opened up on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast, “My brother had nothing but great things to say. She seems awesome.”
When prompted if he would ever date Litia if things don’t work out between her and Grant, Conley said, “I can’t date someone that went on dates with my brother.” He continued, “That’s weird. I’m the older brother.”
