The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives might be one of the wildest reality TV series to hit the screen in the last few years. Between the ketamine treatments and dirty sodas, one has to wonder what other shenanigans go on in the world of Utah’s MomTok figures. Followed by the cameras, the eight women revealed it all.

Whitney Leavitt is one of the star of the Hulu series. Despite a controversial past, Whitney was ready to open up. Viewers of the show got all the inside scoop about her and husband Conner Leavitt’s relationship. When the show kicked off, Whitney and her husband had returned to Utah after time away. Swooon is breaking down what happened with Whitney’s husband and their family life today as The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives makes its broadcast premiere on ABC.

What did Whitney Leavitt’s husband do?

The couple struggled to come clean with what they were dealing with in the early episodes. The twosome always appeared to be on cloud nine, but they faced a tough obstacle in their romance and moved to Hawaii for several months. Conner had a profile on Tinder, despite being married. He sent and received nude photos from women on the app. However, Whitney stressed that these connections never crossed any physical boundaries.

Initially, Whitney denied the rumors. “I didn’t even know it was true until I confronted Conner,” Whitney said on the show. “I went to him, like, ‘Look at this joke.’ There was more to that. He had been struggling with a porn addiction, and I didn’t want to say anything. I didn’t want to come out because I just feel like there’s a whole story. There’s a reason why people do certain things, and I think he was just confused.”

Whitney admitted that Conner’s issues had been going on for their “whole marriage.”  Conner also addressed the scandal on the show. “I had a real problem and it turned into something that really hurt my wife and I’m so sorry. I’m working on myself. But yeah I’ve reached a point where I really don’t care what anybody outside my inner circle thinks,” he said.

When Whitney first told the MomTok group, the 31-year-old also apologized to Taylor Frankie Paul. Whitney divulged that she used Taylor as a scapegoat for moving to Hawaii and getting away from their community amid the group’s soft-swinging scandal. “I originally told everyone that I left because of all the MomTok drama, that I felt like I couldn’t go anywhere. But honestly, we left because I just wanted to get away. I wanted to get away from everything so I could just think for myself. I’m sorry because that wasn’t the reason,” Whitney revealed.

Whitney has also addressed the “craziest rumor” that claimed her husband is gay. “Do I need to put out a sex tape, or something? Like, trust me. We’re good. Everything’s fine,” she said on the Off the Vine podcast.

Are Whitney Leavitt and her husband still together?

The duo, who married in 2016, is adamant in saying that “they are better than ever” after his battles with a porn addiction.

They had lots of therapy to help them get through their issues, and they are currently very happy with their relationship now. Whitney told The Squeeze hosts, “When you go through something that tough and you come out the other end, man, your relationship is stronger than ever. During, it sucks, but holy hell, I’m grateful for where we are now.”

Do they have kids?

Yes, they have three kids together. Sedona is their oldest child. She was born in 2019. Two years later in 2021, their middle child, Liam, followed. After the couple dealt with their troubles, they welcomed their third child. Billy was born in 2024.

Will Whitney and her husband return for Mormon Wives Season 2?

Dramatically leaving MomTok towards the end of Season 1, plenty of fans are demanding to know whether Whitney and her husband will return to the show.

Don’t worry, the former “want-to-be leader” has already confirmed that she’ll be back for Season 2. In a TikTok video, Whitney and Conner announced their returns. Whitney could be seen texting Taylor, who welcomed Whitney back to the MomTok chat. “Excited to film season 2 with all of you 🤍 I know there’s tough conversations ahead but I look forward to our journey together,” Whitney wrote back.
