Who Is Alexe Godin? Meet ‘The Bachelor’ Season 29 Contestant With a ‘No-Drama Llama’
A new crop of women is coming to The Bachelor! Season 29 of the ABC show premieres on Monday, January 27, and previews reveal that Alexe Godin is one of the ladies who will make a big entrance.
In a clip from the first episode of the season, Alexe is seen walking a llama to the front of Bachelor mansion. She tells Grant Ellis that it’s her “no-drama llama,” which he’s immediately intrigued by. “Tune in to #TheBachelor Monday, January 27th @ 8pm on ABC for Linda the llama,” Alexe teased on Instagram.

What does Alexe Godin do?
Alexe works as a pediatric speech therapist, according to her ABC bio. Per LinkedIn, she’s worked for Sam-dit-turbos since February 2022. The company’s website says that it is an “intensive group speech therapy program” that uses a “unique approach” of speech therapy in groups to “develop language and communication skills as well as fine and gross motor skills in a socialization framework.”
Since January 2022, Alexe has worked as a speech language pathologist intern at ABC Pediatric Therapies, as well. She was LSVT Loud Certified, but her certification expired in April 2024 and it’s unclear if she renewed it.

Alexe received her master’s degree in speech-language pathology from the University of Ottawa in 2022.
Where is Alexe Godin from?
Alexe is from New Brunswick, Canada. She is a “small-town girl looking for big-time love,” according to her bio for the show.
The Canada native “grew up on a farm surrounded by goats, bunnies and chickens, which led to her lifelong love of animals.” Hence the llama during her Bachelor entrance!
Due to her Canadian upbringing, Alexe is bilingual. She’s fluent in both English and French.
How old is Alexe Godin on The Bachelor?
Alexe was born on March 19, 1997, which means she was 27 years old when she filmed The Bachelor with Grant, who was 30 years old at the time of filming in fall 2024.
Alexe Godin’s medical issues
In a January 2025 TikTok video, Alexe revealed that she had to take a pretty extreme measure to correct her vision when she was younger. Taking part in the viral “you’re so funny” trend, she revealed, “I had to wear an eye patch when I was younger to fix my lazy eye.”
She also shared a current photo of herself with a focus on her eyes, as well as a throwback shot that showed her wearing the eye patch.
Alexe has been very open about her personal life on TikTok and also revealed on the app that she “started anxiety medication” in college after “struggling with OCD and anxiety.”
