Gypsy-Rose Blanchard Enjoys ‘First Date Night’ Since Birth of Daughter

Gypsy-Rose Blanchard is in her mom era! The 33-year-old stepped out for her first public outing with her boyfriend, Ken Urker, after giving birth to their daughter.
The couple just welcomed their baby, Aurora Raina Urker, on December 28, 2024, and have already adjusted to life as parents. Just a year prior, in December 2023, Blanchard was released from prison after being convicted of second-degree murder for helping to kill her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard.
The 33-year-old media personality and Urker had some well-deserved quality time in the midst of their parenthood journey. The couple posed for a photo together during their night out. Blanchard captioned her post, “First date night after having our baby.”

After ringing in the new year with their precious addition to the family, they decided to announce the major news on Instagram via Urker’s profile on January 1. He was also the one who came up with Aurora’s name. Not just taking inspiration from the fairytale, Sleeping Beauty, the item also admitted to being obsessed with the Northern Lights, otherwise known as aurora borealis.
Blanchard and her boyfriend don’t currently live together, making this date night even more special. She lives at home with her family in Louisiana, while he resides an hour away from them. The reason behind this is her parole restrictions.
Opening up on The Viall Files, Blanchard stated that she has the “standard” parole specificities, such as establishing her primary residence as her parents’ home. There was only one way they could live together as of now — if they married.
They decided against that as she didn’t just want Urker to propose because they were having a baby. “He has his own life. And if he wants to marry me, he will propose. He will make his own decisions based on what he wants to do. So, I don’t put my input in,” Blanchard said. Her parole ends in June 2025.
