‘Bachelorette’s Spencer Conley Reveals Surprise Connection to One of Grant’s ‘Bachelor’ Women
One of Grant Ellis‘ friends has an unexpected connection to a contestant on Season 29 of The Bachelor. While appearing on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast, Spencer Conley revealed how he knows one of the women from Ellis’ season.
Conley and Ellis were both contestants on Jenn Tran‘s season of The Bachelorette and remained friends post-filming.
“There’s a girl on Grant’s season that actually went on a date with my brother,” Conley told podcast hosts Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt. When pressed for information about which woman he was referring to, he said it was Litia Garr, who’s from Salt Lake City, Utah, like Conley and his brother.
“My brother had nothing but great things to say. She seems awesome,” Conley added, although he said he wouldn’t go on a date with Garr himself if things don’t work out between her and Ellis. “I can’t date someone that went on dates with my brother,” he confirmed. “That’s weird. I’m the older brother.”
Meanwhile, the ABC star didn’t know if his brother was even aware of the casting. “He wasn’t even the one who told me. Producers told me because she had mentioned it. He never said anything. He has to know, right? I don’t know. Maybe he has no clue.”
Tran eliminated Conley and Ellis during week 6 of The Bachelorette, just ahead of hometown dates. After the episode aired, it was confirmed that Ellis would be the next Bachelor. Viewers will have to wait and see how things panned out for the New Jersey native, but previews for the season have revealed that his journey to love didn’t come without some hiccups.
“I did not know how hard this was going to be,” Ellis admitted in one clip. He’s also been open about his fear of ending up alone and appeared torn ahead of the final rose ceremony in one trailer. “Do you feel like you know what you want to do?” host Jesse Palmer asked. Ellis replied, “The truth is, I don’t know.”
