[Warning: The below contains MAJOR spoilers for XO, Kitty Season 2.]

There’s nothing like seeing a familiar face when you are in a whirlwind of drama, as Kitty Song-Covey (Anna Cathcart) learned in Season 2 of XO, Kitty. The youngest of the Song-Covey sisters was in a vortex of romantic mess after a catastrophic New Year’s trip when the one and only Peter Kavinsky (Noah Centineo) arrived to lend an ear and boost her spirits.

Peter arrived at KISS in Episode 6 of the new season, visiting Kitty during an international lacrosse tournament. He also hand-delivered letters from Kitty’s cousin to her mom that Lara Jean (Lana Condor) found at their grandmother’s house. The letters were an essential piece in helping Kitty form a plan to reunite her family, and Peter’s visit was integral to her getting back on the right path with her friends. His visit was also incredibly important for fans wanting a status update on his relationship with Lara Jean, which we watched unfold in the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before film trilogy.

Peter was in three scenes total throughout the episode, but we learned a lot about where he and Lara Jean stand. Here’s everything we know about Kitty’s #RelationshipGoals aspirational couple.

1. They are still together.

Well, duh, but it was nice to have Peter confirm they are still making it work long-distance. He’s at Stanford, still playing lacrosse, and Lara Jean is at NYU. They are seniors in college and don’t seem to be contemplating a breakup any time soon.

2. They are not getting engaged…yet.

Kitty is a real one for asking Peter if he’s in Seoul to go ring shopping for Lara Jean, but he quickly shuts the notion down. They are only 22 years old and feel they are too young to be getting married. While we would have loved a sneak peek at some Peter and Lara Jean nuptials, it’s also so nice to see they are being reasonable and just enjoying their lives together. There’s no rush for them to get married! However, we would watch a limited series or another movie about them tying the knot when that day does come.

3. Lara Jean is the love of his life.

Again, duh, but what a Swooon-worthy moment to hear Peter say it! When Kitty gets in her head about meddling with her friends’ love lives, Peter reminds her that her meddling brought him the love of his life. We love a man who can own his feelings with his whole chest. We’ve known he was the one since he put his hand in Lara Jean’s back pocket, and it is so validating to hear we are right almost seven years later.

4. Peter Kavinsky is still boyfriend goals.

Peter may not have been ring shopping, but he’s still the GOAT regarding romantic gestures. Kitty takes him to a local stationary store, and instead of picking just one pack of adorable notebook paper for Lara Jean, he buys her all three. And then he throws in some sparkly pens for good measure. If your romantic partner is not out here treating you to all of the adorable stationery, it’s time to move on. Peter would never make Lara Jean choose between cute paper, and that’s why we’ll love him forever.
