Are ‘Big Brother’ Stars Tyler Crispen & Angela Rummans Still Together? Updates Amid His Baby News
Big Brother alum Tyler Crispen had exciting news to share on January 14 when he announced “the best secret of all time” and revealed that he welcomed his first child, a baby girl named Carter Rae Crispen, on January 12.
In addition to the baby reveal, Crispen also shared that he had gotten engaged to an unnamed women, prompting fans to wonder about the status of his relationship with his Big Brother co-star Angela Rummans.

Are Tyler Crispen and Angela Rummans still together?
Crispen and Rummans are no longer together. The two split at some point in 2022 and the news was confirmed by Us Weekly that December. News of the breakup came after the pair stopped posting photos of each other on social media, which sparked widespread speculation that they had ended things.
After working together in an alliance on Season 20 of Big Brother in 2018 — he finished in second place while she came in fourth — Crispen and Rummans started dating. They moved in together in Los Angeles before eventually relocating to South Carolina, which is where they’re both from. Crispen proposed in January 2021.
“You make everyday seem like a dream come true and I am now officially the luckiest person on the face of the earth,” the runner-up wrote in a now-deleted Instagram post. “I’ll love you to infinity and beyond.”
Why did Tyler Crispen and Angela Rummans split?
In February 2023, Crispen posted a now-deleted YouTube video and explained why things didn’t work out with his ex-fiancée.
“For me, I’ve always been a lone wolf,” he explained. “I’ve always valued being able to take care of myself, and I kind of got away from that for a while. I wasn’t trusting myself. I wasn’t confident in myself. That is what ended up being a nail in a coffin of a relationship that was amazing. It was great. I wasn’t able to be myself. At the end of the day, if you’re not able to be yourself and thrive, then nothing around you is going to be able to thrive either.”
He admitted to going through a “dark time” after the breakup. “I’m glad it’s over,” Crispen admitted. “I’m glad that time is over, but I’m very thankful that it happened because I wouldn’t be where I am today.”
Around the same time, Rummans revealed that she and Crispen had privately been dealing with some issues for “about a year.” She filmed The Challenge: USA in the spring of 2022 and said that things briefly got better when she returned home. However, after a few months, they eventually decided that they should go their separate ways.
Is Tyler Crispen dating Alyssa Snider?
In 2023, Crispen competed on Season 2 of The Challenge: USA and struck up a showmance with fellow Big Brother alum Alyssa Snider. Like Crispen, Snider was already familiar with dating on reality television (she was in a relationship with Kyle Capener after filming Season 24 of Big Brother in 2022, but they split in early 2023.)
Crispen and Snider’s relationship did not continue after filming ended. “I feel like I’ll always hold Alyssa and our relationship close, but I myself got out of a long-term relationship recently, so I feel like I kind of need some time to be just Tyler,” he told Us Weekly in September 2023. “As much as Alyssa is incredible, and I’m sure that we’ll be close for a long time, I felt like it’s just not the right time. But she’s awesome and I will never have a bad word to say about her. I don’t think there’s a bad bone in her body. She’s a gem of a human being.”
While Snider admitted that she wanted to “pursue” something with Crispen after the show, she agreed to “take time” and “be friends” with her costar before seeing what would happen in the future.

While Crispen did announce his engagement, he did not reveal the identity of his fiancée and mother of his child.
