Kelsey Anderson had The Bachelor fans in a frenzy about the status of her relationship with Joey Graziadei after social media users noticed she wasn’t wearing her engagement ring in recent posts.

In fact, one person even commented on her Saturday, January 11, TikTok video about the Los Angeles wildfires and asked, “Where is your engagement ring?” The following day, Anderson posted another video to reveal whether there’s trouble in paradise with her fiancé.

“I’m just not wearing it, and you know what that means? It means I’m still engaged because it’s literally just a symbol,” Anderson explained. “I don’t all of a sudden take it off and [I’m] not engaged.”

The Louisiana native said that she’s noticed “excess wear and tear” on the sparkler recently because she’s been wearing it “all the time,” including while working out. “I’ve been trying to practice taking care of it better and putting it away whenever I get home or whenever I’m working out,” she continued. “I kind of warped it a little and have to get it fixed because one of the diamonds came out because of how I was taking care of it before. So now I’m trying to be more responsible.”

She also pointed out that Graziadei doesn’t wear a ring to symbolize his status and people haven’t said anything to him. “It’s because I’m a woman. That’s real nice,” Anderson added.

To conclude her video, she officially set the record straight. “I know I’m in a public relationship and that’s why people are like ‘What?’ But it’s all good in the hood over here,” she assured fans.

Graziadei proposed to Anderson in October 2023 while filming season 28 of The Bachelor. He popped the question with an emerald-cut diamond on a silver band with two shield-shaped diamonds on the sides of the main rock. The proposal aired in March 2024, and the couple officially moved to Los Angeles together eight months later after spending a few months there for Graziadei’s stint on Dancing with the Stars.

However, the lovebirds aren’t in a rush to walk down the aisle. Anderson recently confirmed that the two plan to start nailing down wedding details “in the next six months,” but won’t tie the knot until at least 2026.

“We’re not getting married this year. Possibly next year or the following, because we got engaged so fast, we got engaged in two months,” she told PEOPLE. “So we want to really take our time still getting to know each other and be really serious about the wedding, and we don’t want it to be a stressful thing. We want to be able to enjoy the process of picking out the things that matter most to us in our wedding.”
