Pamela Anderson Shares Rare Update on Relationship With Ex Tommy Lee
It’s been nearly 30 years since Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee divorced in 1998, but the two are still in each other’s lives because they share two children.
The former couple went through a lot during their tumultuous and whirlwind romance and have had plenty of ups and downs over the years. During her Thursday, January 9, appearance on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live, Anderson gave a rare update on the current status of her relationship with her ex-husband.
Cohen asked the former Baywatch star to clarify whether Lee was the father of her 28-year-old son, Brandon Thomas Lee. She confirmed that both her boys have the “same father” (she and Lee also share 26-year-old Dylan Jagger Lee). This prompted the radio host to ask his guest if things were copacetic between her and the Mötley Crüe drummer.

“I mean, we used to talk a lot more,” Anderson admitted. “Not recently, unfortunately, but, you know, I wish we did have a better rapport right now.” She did not specify when the apparent falling out happened or what caused the loss of amicability in their relationship.
“My youngest son is engaged, and we’re gonna have grandkids together,” she added. “It’ll be OK, eventually. It’s just kind of a moment right now.”
Anderson and Lee got married in 1995 after knowing each other for just four days. Before the end of that year, she was pregnant with their first child. At the time, the then-couple made headlines when their sex tape was leaked after being stolen from a safe in their home.
Although The Last Showgirl star filed for divorce from Lee in 1996, the case was eventually dismissed when they got back together. However, she filed again in February 1998 after Lee’s arrest for felony spousal abuse and child abuse (the latter charge was eventually dropped). After Lee was sentenced to six months in jail, he and Anderson briefly reconciled before splitting for good in 2002 (although there was a brief reconciliation in 2007).
In her 2023 memoir, Love, Pamela, the actress said her relationship with Lee was the only time she was “ever truly in love.” She has since gotten married four more times to three different men — Kid Rock from 2006-2007, Rick Salomon from 2007-2008 and again from 2013-2015, and Dan Hayhurst from 2021-2022. Lee married Brittany Furlan in 2019.
