It’s officially over! More than one year after Bryan Abasolo filed for divorce from Rachel Lindsay, the former Bachelorette lovebirds have finalized their split and agreed on a settlement, Page Six reported on Wednesday, January 8.

The exes did not have a prenuptial agreement but were able to strike a deal that they both approved. Abasolo has agreed to waive future spousal support payments, despite a judge’s July 2024 ruling that Lindsay pay him more than $13,000 a month.

“[Abasolo] waives, discharges and releases [Lindsay] from any and all claims and/or obligations related to the payment to [Abasolo] of spousal support, alimony, or maintenance of any kind whatsoever, including, but not limited to, temporary and permanent spousal support,” the settlement said, according to In Touch.

The former Bachelorette contestant will also be able to keep his wedding band, home in Miami, and 2021 Honda Accord, while the former attorney will keep her engagement ring, wedding band, California home, and 2023 Porsche Macan.

Abasolo and Lindsay got engaged on season 13 of The Bachelorette, which aired in 2017. They tied the knot two years later in Mexico. However, in January 2024, Abasolo confirmed that he and his wife had split. In his divorce filing, he listed their date of separation as December 31, 2023.

Things got a bit messy in the divorce when Abasolo requested money from his estranged wife because he said he needed additional funds to continue the legal battle. “I placed my career as a chiropractor on hold to move twice for Rachel’s career,” he said, per In Touch. “These moves were detrimental to my chiropractic business, while Rachel’s income and success as a media personality skyrocketed.”

However, the two were able to eventually negotiate, although it’s unclear why Abasolo decided to waive future alimony payments.

In December, Lindsay opened up about the breakup and admitted that there was a moment when she knew the marriage wasn’t going to last. “I would probably say maybe I saw signs before [the marriage], but as women, we’re fixers, and we think we can figure it out,” she admitted on The View. “Eventually, I saw it more, I would say, within two years.”
