‘The Sex Lives of College Girls’ Stars Reveal Their Dating Red & Green Flags (VIDEO)
The Sex Lives of College Girls continues to explore the romances of Essex roommates Kimberly (Pauline Chalamet), Whitney (Alyah Chanelle Scott), and Bela (Amrit Kaur) as they tackle sophomore year at the Vermont-based college, but what are the stars’ takes on dating?
When catching up with the trio, as well as Season 3 newbies Gracie Lawrence and Mia Rodgers, who play Kacey and Taylor, Swooon asked what their dating red and green flags were. Their answers might surprise you, while others are rather relatable.
For Chalamet, who plays Kimberly, notes “a lack of curiosity” is a big red flag, clarifying that it means “you’re not curious about things.” As for her green flag? “Self-awareness.”

Meanwhile, Kaur, who plays reformed party girl Bela, reveals that a red flag for her is when someone is “so consumed in other people that you forget about your own ambitions and self.”
And when it comes to Scott, who portrays Essex athlete and science major Whitney, she shares that a red flag for her is when “someone’s not forthcoming or transparent.” In other words, honesty is the key. As for a green flag, she shares that it comes in the form of a person who “allows you to be who you are in any moment.”
As for Lawrence, who plays transfer student Kacey, she reveals that men who are “confused when women are funny” are a no-go. “I’ve seen that happen sometimes with guys before and I’m always like… ‘Oh, you’ve never considered the possibility that a woman could be funny,'” she said.
When it comes to the show’s other newcomer Rodgers, who plays international student Taylor, she reveals her green flag is someone who can make her laugh: “I am a sucker for it.”
