TikTok Couple Tyler Bergantino & Gabby Gonzalez Split Over ‘Different Beliefs’
The first TikTok couple breakup news of 2025 is in. Tyler Bergantino and Gabby Gonzalez have announced their split on their respective social media channels. The shocking news comes just a few weeks after they had a date night out at the Mufasa premiere in Los Angeles.
The two had a very public relationship, with both of them opening up about the love they shared. That’s why they also felt they had to be honest about their split with their fans. Just months after starting a podcast together, Gabby and Tyler’s Unnamed Podcast, they are now going in separate directions.
The reason for the split? In Bergantino’s own words, “We had a lot of different beliefs.”

Furthermore, in his video explanation (which you can see above), the lifestyle creator explained that they were in different spots in their life. Many insinuated that could potentially be in reference to their 10-year age gap. Bergantino is 31 while Gonzalez is 21.
Both still have respect for each other. “I wish him nothing but the best,” she said in her breakup announcement video (below). She added, “He’s just not my person, and I’m not his.”

This is in stark contrast to the beginning of their courtship. In July 2024, Gonzalez told their podcast audience, “I found someone that I see as a life partner through all this.” The couple first met in June 2021.
At that time, Bergantino and Gonzalez’s first in-person interaction went viral on TikTok. Sparks flew between the creators when Bergantino did a man-on-the-street interview with Gonzalez.
Prior to that, Gonzalez revealed to PEOPLE that the former college basketball player had followed Gonzalez on social media, but she was the one who slid into his DMs.
Just six months later, their spark has been snuffed out. Trying to move on, Bergantino admitted that “breakups suck.” He also revealed that this is a new experience for him as he has never gone through split in the public eye.
