Are Kyle Richards & Mauricio Umansky Divorcing? New Relationship Update
Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky might have announced their separation in July 2023, but not much has changed in the year since. At least, not until now.
The last remaining original Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star opened up about her relationship situation with Bravo boss Andy Cohen on the newest episode of Watch What Happens Live. And, yes, she even revealed her thoughts about Umansky dating other women. Spoiler alert: She does not like it.
The 55-year-old reality star admitted that a conversation about legally ending their marriage has yet “to come up.” This was something Cohen didn’t really believe. He emphasized that the two haven’t been together in quite some time. The Halloween alum, however, insisted that they haven’t talked about it since their separation was announced.
She explained, “We’re good friends. We get along really well.” Richards continued, “When the time comes, obviously, we will address it.” The mom of four divulged that she speaks to Umansky a “couple times a week” and texts him “every couple of days” or “sometimes” daily.
Therefore, Richards assured the public that she still has a relatively tight bond with her ex. But, when Cohen expressed that she was probably “not that psyched to have” the eventual divorce talk, it didn’t come as a huge surprise that she agreed with him.
Their frequent contact doesn’t mean that they like to know everything about each other. Richards said that it “hurts” her feelings to see Umansky display PDA with others. This was most prominently in the media when he seemingly had a fling with his Dancing with the Stars partner, Emma Slater.
Meanwhile, when it comes to her own dating life, she played it a little more coy. She once again confirmed that the rumors about her and her friend Morgan Wade are untrue and that they are just “platonic” instead.
