Yvette Nicole Brown and Anthony Davis have said “I do.”

The actor duo, who tied the knot in a December 14 ceremony at The Maybourne Beverly Hills in Los Angeles, had some very special guests there on their wedding  day.

Among the 200 guests that attended the wedding were Brown’s previous coworkers — her Community cast members. Yes, Joel McHale, Danny Pudi, Ken Jeong, Gillian Jacobs, and Jim Rash were all there to support their friend.

After having been friends in their twenties, Brown and Davis lost touch. But when they reconnected in 2021, sparks flew, and the rest is history.

This event marked the first time Brown got married, which she wanted to highlight. The Lady and the Tramp star fell in love at 51 and got engaged at 52. Now, she admitted to PEOPLE that she wants everyone to take away one thing from her love story: “It’s never too late.” For, Davis this is his second marriage.

For, Davis and Brown, this was the easiest decision they had ever made. Still, there were some bittersweet moments at the celebration. Davis’ parents had both passed away in the years past. Brown’s mom died in 2021, while her dad has Alzheimer’s disease. Their siblings took on an important role at the ceremony. The 53-year-old actor was walked down the aisle by her brother.

Davis took it upon himself to make sure there was another sweet memory for his wife. He arranged that her father could be there to surprise Brown.

Brown gushed that her wedding was a dream come true. Prior to getting together with Davis, she never assumed she would get to this stage.

The actress cried the first time she tried on a wedding dress. That wasn’t while prepping for her actual wedding, but instead, it was actually for an episode of Nickelodeon’s Drake & Josh, in which her character, Helen Dubois, got married.

“I cried when I saw myself in the wedding dress, and the wardrobe woman thought I was crying because I looked so beautiful,” Brown recalled. “First of all, I’m not that kind of chick to cry because I look beautiful … I was crying because I was like, “This may be the only time I’m in a wedding dress.” And to realize that all these years later I was wrong and that I get to have my bridal moment as well, and my happy ending as well, it’s amazing.”
