‘Welcome to Plathville’ Star Lydia Plath Engaged to Zac Wyse One Month After Going Public With Romance
Lydia Plath said “yes!”
The 20-year-old Welcome to Plathville star announced her engagement to boyfriend Zac Wyse on December 16. Opening up about their relationship just a month prior, the two are glowing in the engagement photos shared on Instagram.
She was eager to boast about her fiancé, “A million reasons to say YES to the love of my life!” Lydia even called him “a gift from the Lord!”

The 20-year-old continued her sweet message with an explanation about why she was so excited to start her life with Wyse by her side. “You’ve been so patient with me and you’ve led in such a humble and giving way,” she wrote. “The way you care for not only me but for my family, my friends and everyone you come across in such an intentional way is a rare gem to find. And the ways I’ve seen the Lord work in and through our relationship has been such a beautiful experience and I can’t wait to experience that with you forever!”
Wyse, on his end, returned the favor by taking to Instagram to tell the world how much he adores his significant other. He stated, “You are the love of my life! You make me better in ways I never knew possible. You push me closer to the Lord every day and I can’t wait to see what else the Lord has in store for us! I love you so much and I am so excited to spend the rest of our lives together!”
It appears that he is already close to his in-laws, Kim and Barry Plath, who helped orchestrate the proposal alongside the rest of the family.
Talking to PEOPLE, the couple revealed how happy they are to step into this new chapter of their lives, “The moment we were in each other’s arms we were overwhelmed with all the emotions that led us to this moment where all we could feel was pure joy for the commitment we were about to make.”
To further establish their joy, the two cited the Bible verse Ephesians 2:10 as they celebrated the big milestone. They have yet to announce a wedding date.
