The Holiday has been a season staple each winter since its 2006 debut, but could the Nancy Meyers favorite make a sequel comeback? Star Jude Law certainly seems open to the idea in a newly-released social media video where he reprises his infamous Mr. Napkin Head bit from the movie.

The hilarious moment came together as Meyers celebrated Law’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, which was awarded on Thursday, December 12. In a post-ceremony lunch moment, Meyers turned her Instagram camera toward Law, noting that it’s been a while since they reunited. “It’s so great to see you. I don’t think I’ve seen you since we wrapped The Holiday. Speaking of which, I’ve seen you interviewed a lot, and they keep asking you, is there gonna be a sequel, what do you think?” she asks.

Taking a moment for contemplation, Law notes, “Let me see,” before reaching down for his napkin. Donning the look his character Graham does in the film, with a napkin covering his face and glasses holding the cloth up. Law puts a hand on his chin and ponders the idea as Meyers says in the background, “Is that a yes, Jude?”

The video cuts off before any official answer, but the concept of this possibility has our minds racing a mile a minute. While no official announcements for a sequel have been shared, this sentiment certainly has our hopes raised for something set in The Holiday universe, but if Law’s reprisal of Mr. Napkin Head is all we’ll get, we can live with that as well.

As fans will recall, The Holiday was released in 2006 and followed Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet‘s characters Amanda and Iris who decide to swap homes for the holidays after rough breakups. While staying in Iris’s quaint English cottage, Amanda meets her brother Graham with whom she kindles a blossoming relationship.

While getting to know Graham, Amanda learns he’s a widower with two kids, and during a night spent together, she is introduced to Mr. Napkin Head while sharing a cup of hot chocolate with his daughters. Meanwhile, in Los Angeles, Iris befriends a Hollywood legend Arthur Abbott (Eli Wallach), and strikes up a romance of her own with composer Miles (Jack Black).

It’s a warm and cozy movie that is certainly worthy of a long-awaited sequel, but let us know what you think in the comments section, below.
