‘Golden Bachelorette’ Couple Joan Vassos & Chock Chapple Detail One of Their First Fights
The Golden Bachelorette couple Joan Vassos and Chock Chapple are just like us! They have arguments just like any other couple.
The engaged pair sat down with former Bachelors Ben Higgins and Bob Guiney on The Ben and Ashley I. Almost Famous podcast to give an update on their relationship since the show’s come to an end. They opened up about one of their first (and relatable) fights!
“I do want to talk about one thing, and it’s pretty personal,” Chapple began. “It’s don’t take her cell phone charger.”
While Chapple said it wasn’t their first fight, it was definitely a face-off! “That’s part of a real conversation, a real relationship, and it was interesting because we had talked about it before and I took it and, oh my gosh, she was like, ‘You do not take my cell phone charger,'” he said. Vassos replied, “I did not say it like that.”
The couple continues to prove just how relatable they are. Who hasn’t gotten frustrated when someone takes their phone charger? Later in the podcast, Chapple noted, “No one’s perfect. We’ve made a commitment, and commitment keeps marriages and relationships together. It does.”
Higgins asked the couple what the odds are on them being together in the “years to come.” He brought up Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist‘s split just months after getting married.
“I’m gonna say 100 percent,” Chapple declared. Vassos echoed her fiancé. “I’m done. I’m done. This is my man,” she said.
Looking back at the whirlwind experience, the couple is so grateful The Golden Bachelorette brought them together. Chapple admitted that it feels like they’ve “been married for five years.” At the end of the podcast, Chapple gushed, “We were very lucky that this happened to both of us. The connection is real.”
