Jana Kramer’s Husband Declares She’s ‘Never’ Allowed to Film Sex Scenes With Another Man
Jana Kramer will never do another sex scene onscreen again, or at least that’s what her husband, Allan Russell, is demanding.
The couple, who tied the knot in July, are still having some discussions about their wants and needs in their future. Russell didn’t hold back on the One Tree Hill alum’s podcast, Whine Down.
While talking about an intense sex scene that transpired on Yellowstone, the former soccer player admitted that he didn’t want his spouse to take on a role like that. “There’s no part of me that will ever, ever, ever allow that, ever,” he said on the December 8 episode of the podcast. “For a man to be that close to you like that? Never.”
Kramer didn’t necessarily like that comment and pushed back. She inquired about what he would do if one of her future roles would require an intimate scene. To that, her 43-year-old husband had a quick response, “I will go Tommy Lee on everyone. I will be phoning the producers and threatening the producers, ‘You need to change that scene. This for the good of your health, you need to change this scene.”
This was, however, not the end of their conversation about the topic.
Trying to make Russell understand that a sex scene is less appealing than it looks, Kramer explained that it is “so uncomfortable” and “not sexy.” He didn’t change his mind.
“No, I wouldn’t let you do that scene,” he stressed. “That’s not good for a marriage, that type of role. It’s not. Especially [as] a man who’s not in the acting world, it’s difficult. Therefore, that’s my opinion based on, I’m not in that world.”
Kramer, who shares two kids with her ex-husband Mike Caussin, still wasn’t done trying to clarify the reality of sex scenes. Even though she explained that actors aren’t truly naked while filming steamy scenes, Russell was having none of it. “You’re locking eyes with another man and you’re f**king naked,” he snapped. She emphasized, “You’re never fully naked, though.”
His response to that was, “You can see everything.” To end the argument Russell said, “You can’t win, so don’t try.”
