Pamela Anderson Reveals the Truth About Her 12-Day ‘Marriage’ With Jon Peters
Pamela Anderson wants everyone to know she did not actually marry Jon Peters and even (sort of) turned down a $20 million offer to do so. The pair were widely reported to be married — for just 12 days — back in 2020.
“I never was married to Jon Peters,” Anderson clarified on The Hollywood Reporter’s Awards Chatter podcast. The former Baywatch star admitted that the biggest misconception about her is that she’s been married six times instead of just four.
“I had just come home from France and my son called me. He goes, ‘You’re not going to believe it. Jon Peters called me. He offered me $20 million if I could get you to marry him.’ And he was laughing hysterically. Obviously, we don’t take Jon seriously. Jon is a movie maker. He is a wonderful person. He’s very funny,” Anderson revealed.
Anderson and Peters have a long history as friends. They first met through Hugh Hefner at the Playboy mansion.
Despite the reports, a legal union between the figures never happened. “I never married Jon. It was never a marriage, but we were just laughing about that. That’s all that happened. But still people think that I was married to him. So it’s kind of on my list on Wikipedia,” she said.
Anderson was previously married to Tommy Lee, with whom she shares two kids. The Last Showgirl actress was also married to Kid Rock, Rick Salomon (twice), and bodyguard Dan Hayhurst.
“It’s not something I can say [I’m proud of],” she said about her short marriages. “It’s hard to correct someone when say I was only married four times instead of six. It’s just a little less bad. But I wanted to clarify.”
When asked if she would get married for a fifth time, the actress replied, “I don’t know. That could be a true Hollywood ending.”
