‘Chicago P.D.’ Star Tracy Spiridakos Shares Sweet Photo with Jesse Lee Soffer Amid Romance Rumors
Upton and Halstead forever! Months after romance reports swirled about former Chicago P.D. costars Tracy Spiridakos and Jesse Lee Soffer, the actress posted a sweet photo with her rumored beau.
Spiridakos smiled in the photo as Soffer smoked a cigar next to her. “Wine and cigar night,” she captioned the Instagram post. Their fellow Chicago P.D. costar Patrick John Flueger commented, “Oh for cute!”

Back in January 2024, the New York Post reported that Spiridakos and Soffer had been dating “for years.” The couple hasn’t confirmed their romance publicly, but they haven’t denied it either. In August 2024, they fueled romance rumors when Spiridakos shared photos from their trip to Portugal.
Spiridakos and Soffer became costars when she joined the NBC police drama in Season 4. Their characters started out as partners and eventually fell in love. Upton and Halstead married, but when Soffer left the series during Season 10, Upstead’s relationship fell apart.
A season later, Spiridakos decided to leave the series. Upton resigned from the Intelligence Unit at the end of Season 11. She was last seen heading to the airport as she decided to embrace a new chapter in her life.
After a break, Soffer returned to the Dick Wolf universe when he joined FBI: International Season 4 as Agent Wes Mitchell. While both characters Soffer’s played in Dick Wolf dramas have worked in law enforcement, the actor told TV Insider that Wes doesn’t carry the weight of the world on his shoulders like Halstead did.
“Halstead had so much baggage and was dragged through the mud so many times and had such a chip on his shoulder by the end of his run on P.D. and Wes is really more carefree and has kind of an unaffected attitude and is a much lighter character and unaffected by baggage,” he said.
