‘Sister Wives’: Kody Brown Shocks Ex Meri With Confession About Her Marrying Again
Meri Brown is ready for the next chapter of her life — without Kody Brown. In the November 24 episode of Sister Wives, Meri moved away from Flagstaff, and Kody was unexpectedly emotional about Meri leaving once and for all.
As Kody finished helping Meri set up her new place in Utah, he began to cry. “We had something special,” he told Meri before adding that it “feels like it all went to s**t sort of.”
Meri was surprised by Kody’s overflow of emotions. “I’m glad you’re my favorite ex-wife, but it’s the weirdest thing to be in that place.” He added, “I love the life I have, but it’s a very different life than what I had three years ago.”

Kody called Meri moving away the “end of an era.” He added, “It’s like this is the final nail in the coffin of our dream.” In a separate confessional, Meri was shocked by Kody “sobbing” over the end of their relationship. “It didn’t have to be this way,” she said.
Meri added, “I don’t know where this is coming from… He has made it clear that he did not want me in his life, so why this emotion?” Kody also said that he would walk Meri down the aisle when she married again, which left her stunned.
“The fact that he’s saying he wants to walk me down the aisle when I get married again… Like, why would he say that?” she wondered. Meri couldn’t tell if he was serious or making a joke.
Kody has openly struggled with the demise of his plural marriage in recent years. Following Christine Brown‘s departure, Kody’s relationships with Janelle Brown and Meri also broke down. Now Robyn Brown is his only wife left.
Speaking of Robyn, she was heartbroken saying goodbye to Meri, whom she was closest to among the other sister wives. “I really want you to find happiness,” a tearful Robyn said.
Meanwhile, Meri was the definition of stoic. She didn’t shed a tear. “I am at peace with where I am. I have an internal happiness that I haven’t had for a really long time,” Meri revealed.
